@ReadingCouncil I visited a bar Friday, my ID was scanned and was rejected due to being on a “local alert” and I was refused entry. I spoke with management and they said it must have been a false report, they said contact the council. Who can I speak to within PubWatch to remove?
@CloseBrothersMF I submitted a reclaim request on the 13/11/2024 and have yet to hear anything back. Can you please advise when I will be contacted regarding this?
@CloseBrothersMF When did this come into effect? I’m being told any complaints after the 17th November 2024 will not have to receive a response till December 2025, I submitted mine on the 13th November 2024 so why am I having to wait? Attached photo from @MartinSLewis website. Please advise.
@CloseBrothersMF I submitted a reclaim request on the 13/11. I’ve just received an email back stating my complaint has been paused until December 2025 due to FCA investigation. I submitted my complaint before the cut of date of the 17/11. Can you please advise why mine has paused
@HMRCcustomers It was saying payment pending all last week, now on the bank repayments page it just says the amount and has the date the 17th November, Payee has it down as “you”. Can’t see a status of payment anywhere else
@HMRCcustomers I received a re-payment on my self assessment. On the “repayments” section of my account it says it should have been issued the 17th as a bank repayment. I’ve yet to receive anything, how long should I wait?
@TfL I accidentally tapped contactless at Marylebone, I can’t access the website to claim the money back due to cyber attack. Can you let me know how I can claim this back?
@HMRCcustomers I’ve gone to the “request a repayment” page and it says “your self assessment records show you have no amounts available for repayments” is that it?
@HMRCcustomers I’ve been charged interest on a late payment fee. I contested the late payment so that has been removed from my account, however I’ve still been charged interest on this appealed fine. Can I get the interest back since the fine appeal was accepted?
@HMRCcustomers Hi Sofia, the interest was added onto my sum of money I owed in tax for the year so it has already been paid, how do I get the money back?
@HMRCcustomers I’ve appealed late payment fees and they have been accepted - I was also charged interest on these payments, I’ve been told once the late pay appeals are complete I can expect the interest charged to me to be sent back automatically, is that the case?
@HMRCcustomers I’ve contacted about this and have been told it would automatically be submitted once the delay fines were cancelled, would it appear on my account if the “interest objection referral” has been applied for? Would it appear in my form tracker?
@HMRCcustomers No idea, I was told it was lost in the system with HMRC. When I spoke on the phone they saw I submitted it in November 2023, but it was lost in the system and finally returned to me in September. Yet I’m being charged for this which is confusing
@HMRCcustomers I’ve called and written multiple times. I was assured earlier in the year HMRC will take full responsibility for it and will not fine me for it, yet I had to appeal fines and am trying to get the interest payment sent back to me as it was not my fault it was caused
@HMRCcustomers I sent my self assessment in Nov 2023, it was returned to me in Sep 2024. I’ve had a nightmare with it all - I paid the amount in full the day I received the self assessment but have been battered with late fines. I’ve been in contact for months but feel I’m getting nowhere
@HMRCcustomers I’ve found the amount on my account, it has it down as “late payment interest for balancing payment for tax year …” how do I request this money back as the late payment was due to HMRC returning my self assessment late to me?
@HMRCcustomers So what would the amount added to my self assessment for the year be for? I owed £5700 but was told to pay £6000. I had £500 in late fines added onto my account but I appealed them as they were HMRCs fault. Was the £300 I was charged on my self assessment for penalties?
