@metrolaalerts You all need to work on this. The only notification at the station is a caution tape on the entrance. There is a train at the platform with staff milling about but no attempt to communicate proactively at all. Beyond frustrating and poor customer service. I should have walked.
@metrolaalerts Appreciate that explanation. Please communicate this to the operators so they can communicate to the riders. People appreciate transparency. All we’re hearing is that trains are turning back. It makes it look disorganized as opposed to justified.
@fopminui @Morbidful For those who are advanced in the water rip currents are the easiest way to get out past the break. Same concept applies: once it pulls you out far enough you exit the rip by going parallel to the shore.
@metrolosangeles is your idea of good customer service to wrap caution tape around the entrance to a station to indicate it is out of service with no other signage or indication of alternatives? People depend on you. It looks like crap, is completely unhelpful/unprofessional.
@drvolts Clarify “whole”? CA has arguably the most progressive in many areas. Where shortcomings occur don’t forget the ongoing power of fossil fuel orgs though (ex. WSPA is a beast in CA politics)
