I am PROUD of our 1,200 strong fire family. They are aggressively fighting fire on all fronts without relief @SBCOUNTYFIRE@SBCounty
Amazing @CityofFontanaCA State of the City. @SBCOUNTYFIRE is proud to serve this GREAT community! #RightNow is the time to live, work, and play in Fontana (and be served by the BEST in public safety!)
Met w/ @JayObernolte in his Washington DC office this past week. Representative Obernolte takes the time to meet @SBCOUNTYFIRE often to discuss @SBCounty public safety needs. He listens & works hard to support us.
@SBCOUNTYFIRE is working in close coordination with/ area fire departments & @SBCounty OES to prepare for storm. We have pre-positioned resources including extra staffing- heavy equipment, hand crews, swift water teams, & a strike team of small mobile engines.
#SBCoFD Crews remain at the ready at your neighborhood fire stations.
All SBCoFD FFs have basic swift water training & equipment.
Specialized swift water rescue teams are also placed regionally for response & rescue operations.

Want to visit the snow in our beautiful San Bernardino mountains? NOT TODAY, a Blizard Warning is in effect!
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only.
While we have a fleet of snowcats… we prefer to not use them to rescue trapped citizens in blizzards!
A Blizzard Warning, the first issued by this office, is now in effect for the San Bernardino County Mountains from 4 AM Friday to 4 PM Saturday.
Travel will be VERY DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE due to the extremely heavy snow and extremely high winds expected.
