Thanks to @AsmReyes47 for helping @SBCounty receive $4.5 million in funding to build a new County Animal Care Shelter! @SupervisorBaca and I were happy to accept the check on behalf of the County earlier today. This is great news for the animals needing a new home!

Grand opening of the redesigned & modernized culinary lab at GHRC. It is part of our culinary/bakery/catering career training paths. The program provides inmates with valuable life skills in preparing healthy meals, making food from scratch, & feeding their families on a budget.
It is back to school for some schools around San Bernardino County! #SBCSD, @CHPInland, @SBCOUNTYFIRE, @SupervisorBaca, and @SBCountyCode welcomed the students of Muscoy Elementary and handed out 700 backpacks to support them on their first day of school 🏫🎒

About 10 people drown every day. Today, on World Drowning Prevention Day, be sure you and your kids learn how to swim and develop water survival skills. Stay vigilant, practice water safety, and use proper life jackets.
City of San Bernardino Animal Services Waives All Fees for next 100 Pet Adoptions!
In an effort to reduce overcrowding, Animal Services partnered with Best Friends Animal Society to waive fees. The free adoptions include microchip, vaccines, as well as spay/neuter.
