For anyone familiar with the rivers of South Yorkshire, the news that salmon are spawning in the Don is almost beyond belief. The Don, the Rother and the Dearne were once the most polluted rivers in Europe. Their rehabilitation is an ecological triumph.

Stainforth 4 ALL will be 10 years old this summer! 🥳🥳🥳
🎂🎉Look out for more details of how we will celebrate the anniversary of the day that Fred Turner, Stuart Bolton, Boris Segal and @PhillBedford founded our charity, way back on the 11th July 2011 🗓 🥳🥂🎉
S4ALL was set up to totally regenerate #Stainforth.
That's why we proposed & were heavily involved in developing @PlanStainforth.
Now, largely thanks to that Plan, Stainforth has been awarded upto £25m funding via the govt Towns Fund @PhillBedford @DN7FoodBank@SERV_EnviroTeam
We gave out £500 worth of food hampers in Stainforth and Dunscroft last week.
Big thanks to Anne Sylvester for helping us to identify elderly members of the community, who were most in need 👍👍 @PhillBedford #staysafe#foodhampers#DN7
We were out in the driving snow again on Monday, ❄️❄️ delivering fresh food to those in need 👴🏻👵🏿👨🏽🦳👵🏻 ⛄️ @PhillBedford @MyDoncaster#DN7#beastfromtheeast2
Annual fly-tipping statistics have been released today and yet again show a 2% rise. We call for reform of the waste carrier licensing system to curb this disgusting crime once and for all. #flytipping#Panorama#RubbishDumpBritain#TheTippingPoint https://t.co/qPaPTVz80p
"It's the Council's fault" No it really isn't, its those who are too idle to deposit a bottle into a bin or don't give a flying thingy about the environment 😡 "The Council should clean it up" Really and Yes we are - Look! 👇 But...the less you drop the more @MyDoncaster can do.
Happy International Women’s Day 👩🦰👩🏻👩🏽🦱👱🏼♀️
Here are some photos of our women during the Miners’ strike, including our very own charity shop supervisor, Annie Rodgers ❤️💪
Apparently the police were more scared of them, than the miners!!

I am pleased to launch my ambitious plan that will see over 1 million trees planted across Doncaster over the next 5 years.
Working with landowners both large and small we will plant trees across the borough in urban areas, community spaces & woodlands.

We are proud to be helping local Asylum Seekers learn to speak English 📚
Pablo, Mohammed, and Sam have been attending socially-distanced classes at Stainforth4ALL throughout lockdown. They want to repay Stainforth by volunteering to keep our streets clean ❤️🙏🏻 #Asylumseekers
