In a major breakthrough against organized crime, Anti-Gangster Task Force (#AGTF), Punjab apprehends Baljinder Singh @ Rainch, an associate of foreign-based Gangster Goldy Brar.

Recovery: 5 pistols (.32 bore) along with 10 live cartridges, being facilitated for supply to the Goldy Brar gang to distort peace and harmony in #Punjab.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the weapons were procured on the directions of Goldy Brar, through his key associate Malkit Singh @ Kitta Bhani. The accused also has a criminal history with NDPS cases registered against him.

Further investigation is underway to unearth the entire nexus.

Arrested accused was wanted in the firing incident (Aug 14, 2025) at Zira, #Ferozepur, targeting a businessman.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the shooters acted on the directions of foreign-based gangster Lakhbir Singh @ Landa.

FIR registered at PS Zira, Ferozepur, further investigation is underway to unearth the entire network.

Apprehends two operatives along with explosives and sophisticated weapons and ammunition.

Arrested accused were working on the directions of their foreign-based handlers who are backed by Babbar Khalsa International (#BKI)

In a major breakthrough against #Pakistan's ISI-backed terror network, Counter Intelligence, #Jalandhar, in a joint operation with @SBSNagarPolice busts a #BKI terror network operated by foreign-based handlers Mannu Agwan, Gopi Nawashehria and Zeeshan Akhtar on the directions of Pak based BKI operative Harwinder Rinda.

Five operatives apprehended from Tonk & Jaipur districts of #Rajasthan and successfully averted further planned attacks.

The module had planned an attack inside a liquor store in SBS Nagar recently and was further tasked to attempt such attacks on Independence Day occasion.

The arrested accused were receiving direct instructions from foreign-based Zeeshan Akhtar & BKI mastermind Mannu Agwan, who is working in close coordination with #Pak based BKI operative Harwinder Rinda.

One person injured in exchange of fire while being taken for recovery. He opened fire on police and sustained injuries in retaliatory action, and is admitted in Civil Hospital, SBS Nagar.

FIR has been registered at PS City Nawashehar, #SBS Nagar under relevant sections of BNS and Explosive Substances Act.

Recovery: One 86P hand grenade , One .30 bore pistol alongwith two live cartridges and two empty shells of .30 bore

It was a pleasure to interact with the 26 IPS Probationers of the 77 RR batch including 1 each from Nepal Police and Maldives Police during their Study cum cultural tour visit to @PunjabPoliceInd Headquarters, along with other senior officers posted at HQ.

We discussed the evolving challenges of modern policing, the importance of community engagement, and the need to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

In a major crackdown, Amritsar Commissionerate Police busts two cross-border illegal arms smuggling modules and apprehends 4 operatives, including a juvenile.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused were in touch with #Pakistan-based smugglers and retrieved consignments near the international border. The weapons were meant to fuel gang rivalries and disrupt peace in the region.

Recovery: 7 Pistols (1×9mm, 4×.30 bore including Glock, 2×.32 bore), 6 Live Cartridges & a Motorcycle.

FIRs registered at PS Gate Hakima and PS B-Division, Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to trace backward & forward linkages.
