I24/CHaSE Spaceflight Training Class #4! 🚀🌎🌍🌏🛰️
We are excited to announce that I24 will be holding its 4th spaceflight training class this May.
The class is in association with the University of Arizona’s CHaSE (Center for Human Space Exploration) in Tucson, AZ.
Day 1 is Pressure Suits training includes both classroom & hands on experience. You will work as teams to don & doff a real pressure suit and discover for yourself what it takes to work in a spacesuit.
Day 2 is Water Egress training & includes learning how to enter the water from a parachute harness, familiarization & proper usage of water survival suits as well as working as a team to navigate and enter a survival raft.
The 2-day class cost is $500 a day, $1000 total. (airfare, lodging and meals not included) This class is recognized by the FAA.
The target weekend is either May 17th/18th or May 31st/June 1st. Here is a video from our Class #1 & #2 debrief where the students talk about there experiences…
