During our recent #NASASocial at #NASAMichoud, the group got the chance to take a short drive over to @NASAStennis! They viewed the RS-25 engines that will be used for Artemis III, IV, and V and toured the test stand where these engines are hot fire tested!
Got to witness the Artemis III Core Stage rollout, tour the NASA Michoud Facility where the rockets are built, and meet the minds behind the machines today. Can’t believe it
Coolest day of my life
Thank u @NASA@NASA_Events, I love u
More from the Artemis III core stage rollout.
Seeing the SLS barrel assembly area and high bay in person really puts into perspective the scale required to build and move hardware like this.
Huge shoutout to the teams behind the ground support equipment making it all possible.
Enjoyed the rest of my time at MAF, Stennis Space Center, and Rocketdyne. Got to see the RS-25 engines for the next few Artemis flights (not pictured)! #NASASocial
Copy, bracelet! Our Artemis Ill core stage rollout #NASASocial is coming to an end - but the great part about an experience like this is that the memories and friendships will last a lifetime.
Thanks for joining us, friends!
Had another special visit with NASA’s Acting Associate Administrator for the Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate Lori Glaze… and RISE!!! 🌎
Surprise! Our #NASASocial group was treated to a special guest this morning ahead of the core stage rollout. They got a chance to talk to NASA astronaut @Astro_Ayers about her space experiences and what's upcoming for Artemis.
It’s right behind us, isn’t it?
SLS associate program manager Sharon Cobb stopped by for a group photo with our #NASASocial group in front of the core stage for Artemis III - no big deal!
Welcome to America's Rocket Factory! These digital creators are getting a tour of #NASAMichoud - where the SLS core stage is manufactured. This facility is one of the largest in the world, with 43 acres of manufacturing space under one roof!

Launch footage of Artemis II from the VAB - our group were lucky enough to be closer than almost anyone at lift-off.
SOUND UP! This video is a pretty good representation of what it was like. But the birghtness, and the noise / shockwave is impossible to capture.
TY @NASA_Events!
What an absolutely unbelievable time I had with the @NASASocial crew for the Artemis II launch! It was a dream come true to witness my first launch in person! We are going back to the moon and we will eventually be staying! My excitement for @nasa and space exploration is at an all time high! 🚀🇺🇸
My, how time flies!
Just yesterday, #NASASocial creators lined up at @NASAKennedy to cheer on Artemis II astronauts as they made the trip to the launch pad.
Now, the crew is aboard the Orion spacecraft on their historic journey around the Moon! 🚀
