just realized i've been massively overpaying for AI.
turns out the exact same models can be way cheaper depending on which provider you go through, sometimes up to 70%.
that's basically what antseed does.
it sits between your tools and the AI providers and quietly picks the cheaper route for every request.
the example that got me was cursor.
you connect antseed once and you can switch between any models right inside cursor, no api keys, no per-provider setup, nothing.
it's even got free models on there like deepseek v4, so part of your usage costs nothing.
no signup, no account, and it's anonymous.
been playing with it this week and honestly didn't expect it to be this simple.
the video below shows the whole cursor setup, take a look.
It's not about the limit.
It's the timing.
It always lands in the one thing you can't leave half finished...
What were you in the middle of when it happened?
@TechCrunch everyone pays one company's price for the same token. The inference market is going to look a lot more like a marketplace than a catalog sooner than expected

We recently changed how peer routing works in AntSeed.
Previously, users often had to choose a specific seller using:
peerId@model
Now you can normally request just the model:
kimi-k3
AntSeed handles the seller selection automatically.
Claude vs Antseed - How to decide when it's worth using Claude's subscription vs @AntSeed?
Same idea as a phone plan. Below a certain number of minutes, paying per minute is cheaper than the monthly plan. Cross that number and the flat fee wins.
Below the first number, AntSeed is cheaper. Between the two, the subscriptions win. cross the subscription limit move back to AntSeed.
to simplify :
Heavy user? Once you hit your plan's cap, Just use Antseed.
Light user, or want more than Claude's models? Just use AntSeed.
The VPR switches between all of it with one toggle, same tool, no migration.

@almanak once agents move from research to execution, every dependency starts to matter more - who has access to the data, execucution, model calls, costs, and reliability.
@gizatechxyz once real capital is involved, teams will care much more about what each model call costs, how reliable it is, and whether they can switch providers when needed.
@GoKiteAI@CreaoAI@Debot_Official congrats!
I think next step is inference purchase - which model, which seller, max fee, privacy rule, and what proof comes back with the response.
🚨 THE ANT HAS BEEN WORKING LIKE CRAZY.
A whole new lineup of AI image creation models is now LIVE on AntSeed, at some of the best prices in the market!
GPT Image 2, Flux 2, Grok Imagine, Chroma, and more.
The ant is just getting started. 🐜

@Spectral_Labs@The_GridAI When agents move from standalone tools to coordinated networks it makes the infra layer for routing, discovery, and reliable execution a lot more valuable.
Excited to be a part of the @antseed team and help build the open market for AI inference.
The VPR is like a VPN but for AI. Zero migration - keep using your existing tools and buy inference from the open market, peer to peer, no middleman.
More choice, real privacy. No vendor lock-in, a fraction of the cost.
This is the kind of infrastructure that makes an open AI economy actually work. Happy to be part of building it.

@vincentweisser Congrats on the release! Token efficiency is only half the cost story though, the other half is that you are stuck on one provider's pricing. Is that on your radar too?
