I fully support this. If you believe in tough on crime policies, unless that crime is traffic related, what you hate is not crime, or danger, but poor people. Far more people die from car accidents than random violence.

We’re asking Administration to work with the Police Commission to bring forward funding options for the shortfall that @CalgaryPolice is facing and push the Province to either cancel the ban or provide data-driven exemptions.

Calgary already has one of the lowest police-to-citizen ratios in Canada—we can’t afford to lose frontline policing resources. This is about keeping our city safe. #yyccc #ableg
