@CathyCongress Cathy Bernstein is challenging Jerry Nadler. Let’s send Jerry and the rest of the NYC political establishment a message that politics as usual are over and we will not be taken for granted any longer. VOTE FOR CATHY! https://t.co/DWhfarnpFK
Everybody, even criminals, deserve compassion and reasonable help. What nobody deserves is to live on Park Avenue or other super expensive neighborhoods on the taxpayers’ dime when 99% of hard working families cannot afford it.
“Hotel Helen” and politicians like her do not care for their constituents or for the homeless or in which neighborhoods they are dumped. They only care that the hotels are rewarded for their contributions via cushy contracts with the city at the taxpayer expense.
"Hotel Helen" always puts interests of hotels over constituents. How many men have died at Lucerne and Belclaire? These mentally ill chemical addicted men need proper facility like 52 William @HelenRosenthal @nypost @NYDailyNews https://t.co/UqmODIbCra
Bad policies are degrading safety and quality of life in NYC. It is a sad day when the failure of our institution requires citizens to take policing into their own hands. Join us to change the political landscape in NYC and restore our city to sanity. Join https://t.co/zX0Nvnmx3T
Bail reform is an experiment that has failed. Streets are less safe due to the revolving door of criminals. Time to demand safer streets! Victims should matter! @LindaBRosenthal you have put our communities at risk! @savetheuws https://t.co/XQhWolcLYI
@no_nimby_uws Implying that anyone thinks that slashing people with a sword in the middle of a city is a good idea is just silly. But thanks for paying attention and being on constant watch for trolling opportunities.
@homeless_new The number of homeless grows for many reasons: lack of institutionalization, adverse economic conditions, poor policies instituted by those who benefit from perpetuation of the problem. What is clear is that Right to Shelter attracts homeless to NYC from other places.
NY has a “right to shelter” law mandating that a shelter is provided to anyone who asks without any residency requirement. No wonder that homeless from all over the country are streamed here. Soon it will be as bad here as it is and n SF.
This whole #homelesshotel program is a disaster! @NYCMayor, @NYCMayorsOffice, our city is becoming a destination for the #homeless, just like SF. They have all these programs for the homeless, but the population keeps growing. https://t.co/q59S6BLpu8 #safeFiDi#safeNYC
@homeless_new Thanks for agreeing that SF is bad and we do not want NYC to be the same. The explanation is that different specifics but same incentives drive outcomes. CA—and SF especially—also have a lot of benefits for the homeless, even if they do not have identical laws. Plus good climate.
@UWSOpenHearts@CynthiaNixon@NYCMayor Another cynical woke Hollywood actress with ambitions to become a progressive politician is taking advantage of the homeless to restart her stalled political career. Zero solutions or concern for our communities.
@sjwalrus @savetheuws@LibertariaNYC Companies go under because employees are harassed, sales lost because customers don’t shop in crime ridden places where everything is locked up & stores have to pay for extra security & guards. You must like looting or believe that everything should be free in the first place.
