I historically have only posted professionally here, today I’m sharing my personal thoughts about Iran as someone born and raised there. Many Iranians are happy right now and have been waiting/trying over the past 47 for this moment and for a potential regime change in Iran (1/3)
This is a dictatorship regime that spent 47 years destroying Iran and its people: women imprisoned for not wearing hijab, tens of thousands killed for simply demanding basic freedoms, and an economy so mismanaged that ordinary Iranians can no longer afford basic needs (2/3)
Exciting news! Our new @NatureComms
paper is online: Scaling Target Trial Emulation by simulating hundreds of randomized controlled trials using two types of Real-World Data EHR and MarkestScan claims to identify drug repurposing candidates for #AD using #RWE

#Transformer models are shaping the future of our world and #AI! We utilized Transformers for large claims data analysis and #Opioid use disorder prediction. See more details in our recent IEEE-JBHI paper: https://t.co/vzTQFbWy2H
#ChatGPT#AI performance on *open-ended, free-response,* clinical reasoning exams intended for human medical trainees. #LLMs are passing medical licensing exams, but artificial multiple choice designs do not reflect realistic clinical reasoning.
