Reflecting on Pakistan's economic trajectory at Margalla Dialogue(@MargallaDialog) here are my insights:

- Robust GDP growth between 1998-2008, marking a peak in economic vitality.

- Challenges in the export industry, with the textile sector facing fierce competition from India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.

- Concerning trends in total exports, which capped at 27 billion$ last year.

- The untapped potential of Pakistan's copper industry, which is currently undervalued at less than a billion dollars.

- The need to nurture industry growth and establish robust brands for export.

- The emergence of the IT sector as a contemporary strength and a promising way forward for Pakistan's economy.

- It is natural to desire a portion of the pie, but we must not forget about the cake - Pakistan. To truly seize the opportunities available, it is crucial to have unwavering belief in the untapped potential of Pakistan.
