@hubermanlab@drlaurencs1 Haven’t watched it yet, but based on the titles of the time stamps, doesn’t seem like you discuss training during pregnancy or when planning pregnancy. Odd to leave that out!
Super happy to announce that I have completed the Ontario Medical Association @OntariosDoctors Physician Leadership Program at @rotmanschool@UofT.
Great program tailored for physician leaders in Canada. Thanks to the OMA, Rotman School of Management, and everyone who supported me throughout the application process and program. Many lessons learned to help me in the next phase of my career.
@dhaval_shroff Congratulations man. All your hard work is finally going to be realized. Super excited to see the ongoing rollout and one day test it out for myself!
@MarcCarrier1@FCouturaud Do you think thrombophilia screening could be used to identify patients who may be higher risk and therefore better suited to full dose?
True. Many people are more concerned with the perception of doing good, rather than actually doing good. I support those who are focusing on doing hard work that benefits others and our planet.
.@naval: “The reality is that opportunities have never been more equal than now.
@elonmusk and @JeffBezos have the same iPhone you do. They don’t have some better version of an iPhone.
They’re eating food that might be marginally better than yours, but it’s basically the same.
You might even have a better diet than them. You probably have more time to go to the gym than them.
They’re not immortal, and they’re not going to be—most likely, not at this time scale.
So you have more youth than them. You have a lot of advantages over them.
The wealth gaps are actually much smaller than people think.
A lot of that is due to mass production, which comes from specialization, labor, and capitalism.
But it’s very easy to overlook that and agitate—because that gets you higher in the status hierarchy with other monkeys.
It makes you look like you’re fighting for noble causes and gives you status, which is really what people are craving these days.
They’re craving status, not money or wealth.
And status is a zero-sum game.
So it’s kind of an evil game to play because there have to be losers for every winner.
And the only way to win is by crushing somebody else down.”
This dude was skiing and happened to pass a snowboarder who was completely buried underneath the snow. He would have potentially died if this guy hadn’t noticed him.
@SimonHale007@herbertong The crazy part is that there will likely be new and exciting parts of the business that we don’t even see coming right now, despite already having one of the most exciting product pipelines out there. Future TAMs will be even greater than what we think future TAMs will be
A Calgary truck driver drove three hours to return a lost purse containing over $1,000, a gold chain, documents, credit cards, and ID’s.
On Nov. 29, during a trip from Calgary to Abbotsford, Daljit Sohi made a quick coffee stop in Golden, B.C. As he returned to his truck, he noticed a woman drop her purse and drive off. Determined to return it, Sohi followed her for three hours. He finally caught up at a gas station in Sicamous, where he handed back the purse.
The woman offered him a $500 reward, which he declined before leaving without sharing his name. After tracking him down through the trucking company, she sent him an iPhone and a note to show her gratitude.
Sohi was later honoured as a TCA Highway Angel, a program recognizing truckers in North America for their kindness, courtesy, and courage on the road.
