“PCVE is achieved through collaboration between the community and Justice & Security actors.” – Ivy Wasike, Principal Magistrate
At Mwanamke Imara, we believe prevention starts with partnership. When communities, women leaders, and justice institutions work together, we build trust, strengthen early warning systems, and create sustainable peace from the ground up.

@TruphenaMuthon I stand with you, people should be creative and be very unique in the records they want to break. We want to see new things we haven't seen or heard of not breaking existing records.
When government and civil society join forces, impact multiplies.
From 23–26 Sept, @NCTC_Kenya, @UNDPKenya & @KOICAKenya trained CSOs on DDRR:
🔹 4 days of learning
🔹 Skills on rehabilitation & reintegration
🔹 Stronger collaboration for peace
A milestone toward a people-centered, sustainable #PCVE response.

📻✨ Tomorrow, our very own @21way1 (Taylor Torch) will be live on @swahilipotfm sharing his inspiring journey as an artist and peacebuilder, and his commitment as a youth & women ambassador under YOWPSUD.
Through his new music album Tint Doors n Chill, with two tracks already released – Push Better and Prime Suspect – Taylor is using his art as a platform to raise awareness on suicide prevention, resilience, and the silent struggles many young people face. His voice reminds us that music can be a powerful tool in shaping alternative narratives for peace and countering violent extremism.
Beyond music, he will speak about YOWPSUD’s commitment to youth and women empowerment – from strengthening women’s leadership in PCVE through the Mwanamke Imara Project, to building youth capacity and motivating them to tap into open government opportunities such as AGPO, Biashara Fund, and the Youth Enterprise Fund.
@21way1 will reflect on preparations for the International Peace Day 2025 event in Malindi, where YOWPSUD is serving on the technical group, working with partners to raise awareness on PCVE interventions, celebrate resilience, and appreciate the efforts of all peace and security stakeholders.
At YOWPSUD, we are proud of Taylor Torch’s growth, vision, and dedication to empowering communities through both his music and peacebuilding work. Tune in, be inspired, and let’s continue to build bridges of peace together.

Suicide isn’t just an end. In the wrong hands, it becomes a mission. Read how despair is fueling violent extremism 👉 https://t.co/b8YosROKxa
This article brings out a perspective that many of us have not seen. @MpashoNews@NairobiGossips@citizentvkenya@NCTC_Kenya
Prime Suspect is not just music; it’s a message. I want people to talk, not bottle up their pain. Silence kills, but sharing saves.
