Exciting milestone for IFSO!
Today we launched the pilot IFSO Robotic Bariatric Surgery Fellowship in Atlanta with 4 fellows from the Latin America region. This initiative was created under the leadership of @rvcohen , with Rana Pullatt leading the task force and myself coordinating the program.
Thanks to our partnership with Intuitive, each fellow will train on a dedicated robotic system, complete ≥30 mentored cases, and follow a structured didactic curriculum.
Next week, three fellows from the European region will begin their training in Freiburg, Germany, completing this global pilot.
