Bangladesh: 5.9%

And
Pakistan: 23%
It means Pakistan’s poverty rate is almost 4 times compared to India and Bangladesh.
Also this figure represents extreme poverty. The actual number of people living below standard poverty rate in Pakistan are now 47%.
There has been significant increase in poverty over last 4-5 years. As you read this, more people are going below poverty in Pakistan while there is constant reduction in case of India and Bangladesh.

کراچی کے یلو لائن بی آر ٹی منصوبے میں تقریباً 8.5 ارب روپے کی مبینہ بے ضابطگیوں کی تحقیقات سندھ اینٹی کرپشن کے حوالے کی گئی تھیں، مگر سندھ ہائی کورٹ نے سخت سوال اٹھایا ہے کہ ایف آئی آر کے مہینوں بعد بھی تحقیقات مکمل کیوں نہیں ہوئیں اور چالان عدالت میں کیوں جمع نہیں کرایا گیا۔عدالت نے اینٹی کرپشن کے چیئرمین کو شوکاز نوٹس جاری کرتے ہوئے یہ بھی پوچھا ہے کہ کیا تحقیقات میں تاخیر سے ملزمان کو فائدہ پہنچایا گیا اور کیوں نہ معاملہ نیب کے حوالے کردیا جائے۔ شاید یہی پس منظر تھا کہ اس بدنام زمانہ کیس کے مرکزی ملزم کو پہلی سماعت میں ہی ضمانت مل گئی یلو لائن کی لاگت بھی تقریباً 61 ارب روپے سے بڑھ کر 173 ارب روپے سے زیادہ ہوچکی ہے۔
