This is not a resource problem, it’s a priority problem.
The world spent $2.7 trillion on defence.
Humanitarians are asking for just less than 1% of that to save 87 million lives in 2026.
Let's choose solidarity over indifference.

In 2024, we documented 284.4 K cases of missing people in almost 100 countries affected by armed conflict and/or armed violence, and the number is likely far higher.
Behind every missing person is a family looking for answers. They deserve to know.

too difficult,
too bossy,
too much,

Funding for gender-based violence programmes must be prioritized. #16Days

Can't stress enough how important this is. Your brain will rot if your sole media diet is tweets and short-form videos. You need to be reading daily. The consequences of a world in which no one has the sustained attention to read a book will be catastrophic.
Across the #WestBank, settler violence targeting the annual olive harvest has continued, with ongoing attacks on Palestinian farmers and lands.
October 2025 is on track to be the most violent month since UNRWA began tracking settler violence in 2013.
“The annual olive harvest is the primary livelihood for tens of thousands of Palestinians, with olive trees deeply rooted in Palestinian heritage and identity.
Attacks on the olive harvest threaten the very way of life for many Palestinians and further deepen the coercive environment in the occupied West Bank.
Families should be allowed unhindered access to their lands to harvest their olives in safe conditions,” says Roland Friedrich, Director of UNRWA Affairs for the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
The humanitarian situation in Al Fasher and other parts of Sudan is nothing less than catastrophic. World leaders must act to end the indiscriminate killing.

We denounce the horrendous mass atrocities and killings, both indiscriminate and ethnically-targeted, that have culminated this week in and around El Fasher, Sudan.
