@LucyGoBag These direct cremation companies will work well for some but your local funeral directors will do the same without the travel. Why would you send your loved one many miles away when you can’t do a viewing or worse still if a PM is required?

a patient told me : My great grandmother grew up in Mississippi and used to tell me she had multiple kids but every time she gave birth, the hospital would take her baby and tell her it “died.” She said it happened 9 times. She had one child that was my mom, mom. No one in the family believed her but me. She told the story in detail so many times.
