Not a single statement has been issued by Pakistan’s MoFA after supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei’s death. It’s been more than 8 hours that no one from the govt, including PM Sharif, President Zardari or MoFA has issued a statement of condemnation or anything of such sort. Hypocrisy, pressure or what?!
Dependence on foreign remittance has increased significantly since 2018-19. But it is because the same households are getting more in remittance or many more households are getting it instead? The answer is many more households depend on foreign remittance today than in 2018-19.
