Now, a new study finds those bans are hurting women who aren't seeking abortions at all. Researchers found delays in miscarriage treatment increase the risk to a woman’s health and fertility and prolong the grief of a lost pregnancy.

One major issue with the trans sports "debate" is that cìs people who advocate against inclusion always operate on this notion that every person plays at an Olympic level, at peak athletic ability. And they base their entire position against inclusion on that.

The 99% of us who are not Olympians vary wildly in our athletic ability and skills.

There is far less of a difference between regular male- and female-born people than many believe.

Go to your local Y when they host coed basketball. You'll find plenty of females who can outplay males.

🚨BREAKING: Men posed as ICE agents and detained and assaulted a woman… and Tom Homan is telling everyone that they just have to comply with this.

A woman was driving on Highway 211, in Oregon, when a vehicle with flashing red and blue lights pulled behind her.

Believing she was being stopped by law enforcement, she pulled over.

Two men approached her vehicle, one was carrying a rifle, and they claimed to be ICE agents and told her she was being detained.

They pulled her out of her car, searched her, and put her in the back of their vehicle.

Then, a third man… who remained inside the vehicle… assaulted her.

He told her he was the “guard.”

The men were wearing tactical vests labeled “POLICE,” carrying fake badges, and wore face coverings.

They held her for nearly 20 minutes before telling her she was free to go… and then she drove herself to the hospital.

And while she was there, she reported that she started receiving text messages from someone claiming to be a law firm offering legal representation for her detention.

Federal authorities later confirmed this was NOT an official ICE operation… These were people pretending to be federal agents.

And this is exactly why Tom Homan telling people to “comply” with anyone claiming to be ICE is so incredibly dangerous.

Because what is a person supposed to do when someone in a tactical vest, carrying a gun, pulls them over with flashing lights and says they are federal agents?

Just trust them?

This is not about telling people to resist legitimate law enforcement.

This is about the government normalizing a system where anyone can look like an armed federal agent, claim to have authority over you, and expect you to obey without being able to verify who they are.

That doesn’t make people safer.

It makes everyone more vulnerable to being kidnapped, assaulted, or killed by criminals who know they can pretend to be ICE.

I remember a time when trans women athletes competed, and nobody really cared.

No mass media propaganda campaigns, no influencers making their living off of it, no moral panic.

One of my best friends in college over a decade ago played in the NCAA for 2 years, and there was no mass hysteria or panic about "fairness".

Anyone who has actually played sports knows there is no such thing as fairness when it comes down to the individual.

Was it fair that I had to run the high hurdles against an Olympian?

Was it fair that at 5'9' I was always a good 6" inches plus shorter than everyone else in the high jump?

Was it fair that I had sports-induced asthma?

Was it fair that many of my track rivals had personal off-season coaches and were able to go to training camps when I couldn't?

Sports isn't fair down to even the basics.

Not even refereeing is fair to both sides.

There are always athletes who had access to more, who were more genetically gifted, who had good supportive home lives that allowed them to thrive athletically, etc.

Why do people care so fucking much about a 16-year-old softball pitcher who just so happens to be a trans girl, for example?

Moral panic, all of it.

Propped up by men's sexual and masculine insecurity, their need to push for patriarchal norms, and their desire for "Christian" values.

Society needs to get a grip and stop trying to make a massive hysteria over every little thing trans related.

MAGA turns a blind eye to Climate Change when danger and disaster is all around us. They were raised in a way that was all that has allowed them to abandon empathy in their adulthood, and I find it both shocking and repugnant. One must always assume they know better, but do they really?

At this point members of this hard right movement may be so brainwashed and deadened into their own humanity, that the effort required to change and learn is lost to them.

I offer these thoughts, not as an excuse, but as a way to understand - so we can fix the problem. We must find some way forward, and it would help to know who we are traveling with. Otherwise, we are going to keep going in circles - and that spiral only goes one way - down.
