Delighted to have been interviewed for this. An excellent article even if I say so myself.

We've had the election. We know the result. We warmly congratulate the Prime Minister and his new government.
Naturally, I commiserate with John Major and all our candidates who did not win this time.
And perhaps I may just remind you that over the last 18 years it was a Conservative Party that rebuilt Britain. Now perhaps it's time for us to rebuild ourselves to face the future.
Now, loyal and hardworking MPs face deselection, intimidation, and a dismissive attitude when raising serious complaints related to discrimination based on age, gender, and ill health.
Politics should be about serving the public, not a ruthless game of who can climb the greasy pole the fastest. Professionalism, integrity, and ethics should be at the core of our political system.
🔵 There seems to be a lot of truth in this allegation. If we take the 39 selections I have heard about in hopeless seats in the last four days:
28 are women;
11 are men;
4 of the men are from ethnic minorities;
only 7 of the men are white.
7 of the women are ethnic.
@tomorrowsmps Watching these selections into no hope seats is deeply upsetting. Allowing and encouraging this to happen is abhorrent. Why are high quality candidates too cowed and too afraid to just refuse to do this?

@tomorrowsmps Imagine also being a candidate too terrified of not being put back on the selection list to say no to such demands . An appalling state of affairs that is quite simply unacceptable
Tory group leader accuses party of overlooking female candidates - BBC News. Proud to be able to speak up for women. Many too terrified of upsetting CCHQ to complain.Enough it’s time to stand up and be counted. Make a difference.Challenge what’s not right https://t.co/EncUeSHwEV
@HeraldNewspaper OVO should be banned from advertising and taking on new customers until this company and it’s shocking business practices have been thoroughly investigated and those responsible held to account.
Elizabeth Leffman The leader of Oxfordshire earns a total of £48,000 for her County Council Role and a further £5,220 for her West Oxfordshire District Councillor role. £53,220 of tax payers money for this level of incompetence is totally unacceptable.
@GroupOx Cllrs & @OxonTories will always do right by #SEND families.
I have been calling for #Labour & #LibDem Cllrs to take action for c.10 months now.
Whatever the outcome of ensuing negotiations, we must have good governance @OxfordshireCC & we must put SEND families first.
