ప్రజా ఆరోగ్యం, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ దిశగా కేంద్ర ఆహార భద్రత-నాణ్యతల ప్రాధికార సంస్థ (@fssaiindia) కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.

పాన్ మసాలా ప్యాకింగ్‌లో ప్లాస్టిక్, ప్లాస్టిక్ లామినేషన్, అల్యూమినియం ఫోయిల్ వాడకంపై పూర్తి నిషేధం విధిస్తూ ప్యాకేజింగ్ నిబంధనల్లో సవరణలు చేసింది.

ఇకపై పాన్ మసాలాలను కేవలం ప్లాస్టిక్ రహిత పేపర్, పేపర్ బోర్డ్, సెల్యులోజ్ లేదా టిన్, గాజు సీసాలలో మాత్రమే విక్రయించాలి.

ఈ నిర్ణయం వల్ల ప్లాస్టిక్ పౌచ్‌లలో నిల్వ ఉండటం ద్వారా జరిగే రసాయన చర్యలు, మైక్రో ప్లాస్టిక్స్ ప్రమాదం తగ్గి ప్రజారోగ్యానికి రక్షణ లభిస్తుంది. అలాగే రోడ్లు, డ్రెయిన్లను ముంచెత్తే రీసైకిల్ కాని కోట్ల ప్లాస్టిక్ సాచెట్ల వ్యర్థాలకు అడ్డుకట్ట పడి పర్యావరణానికి ఎంతో మేలు జరుగుతుంది.

ఈ నూతన మార్గదర్శకాలను తయారీదారులు, వ్యాపారులు కచ్చితంగా పాటించాలి. స్వచ్ఛమైన, ఆరోగ్యకరమైన సమాజం కోసం ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ భాగస్వాములు కావాలి!

నేను షూటింగ్ నిమిత్తం పొల్లాచిలో ఉన్నా కూడా నా మనసంతా “పెద్ది” దగ్గరే ఉంది.

గత రెండేళ్లగా ఈ సినిమా కోసం చరణ్ పడ్డ కష్టం, చూపించిన శ్రద్ధాశక్తులు అన్నీ దగ్గర నుంచి చూశాను.

ఈ రోజు ప్రేక్షకుల ప్రేమ, ప్రశంసలు చూస్తుంటే ఒక తండ్రిగా మాత్రమే కాదు, ఒక నటుడిగా కూడా ఎంతో గర్వంగా అనిపిస్తోంది.

“పెద్ది” పాత్రలో పూర్తిగా లీనం కావడానికి తను అహర్నిశలు చేసిన కృషి, పట్టుదల, నిజాయితీ ప్రతి సన్నివేశంలో స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. ఆ కష్టానికి దక్కిన ప్రతిఫలమే ఈ విజయం.

వేరే కులం, వేరే ప్రాంతం, వేరే మతాల పండగలను సాధారణంగా గౌరవించరు లేదా పట్టించుకోరు.

కానీ కుల, మత, ప్రాంతాలకు, రాష్ట్రాలకు అతీతంగా లక్షలాది మందితో ఒక పండగ జరుగుతుంది.

నాలుగు దశాబ్దాలుగా జరుగుతోంది.

సమాజమంతా శుభానికి సూచికైన పసుపుమయం అయిపోతుంది.

తెలుగు నేలపై పసుపు జెండా కేవలం ఒక రాజకీయ గుర్తు కాదు; అది కోట్ల మంది గుండె చప్పుడు, తెలుగువారి ఆత్మగౌరవ నినాదం. విశ్వవిఖ్యాత నటసార్వభౌముడు, అన్న నందమూరి తారక రామారావు గారు నాటిన ఆశయాల మొక్క, నేడు మహావృక్షమై నిలిచింది. ఆ వృక్షానికి ప్రతి ఏటా మే నెలలో జరిగే వసంతోత్సవమే ‘మహానాడు’.

ఇది కేవలం ఒక పార్టీ ప్రతినిధుల సభ కాదు; కష్టాల కడలిని ఈది, అణచివేతలను ఎదుర్కొని, త్యాగాల పునాదులపై నిలబడిన లక్షలాది మంది కార్యకర్తల భావోద్వేగాల మేళవింపు.

నాడు, తెలుగు జాతికి ఒక ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపును, ఢిల్లీ పీఠాల ముందు మోకరిల్లని ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని ప్రసాదించడానికి అన్న ఎన్టీఆర్ చైతన్య రథమెక్కిన రోజులు గుర్తొస్తే నేటికీ నరనరాల్లో రక్తం ఉరకలేస్తుంది. ‘సమాజమే దేవాలయం - ప్రజలే దేవుళ్ళు’ అంటూ ఆయన ప్రవచించిన సిద్ధాంతం ఈనాటికీ మహానాడు వేదికలపై ప్రతిధ్వనిస్తూనే ఉంది.

అధికారం ఉన్నా లేకపోయినా, ప్రజా పక్షాన నిలబడి పోరాడే తత్వాన్ని, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసాన్ని ఈ పండుగ ప్రతి కార్యకర్తకూ నూరిపోస్తుంది. నాయకుడు దిశానిర్దేశం చేస్తే, ఆ దిశను తమ శ్వాసగా మార్చుకునే సైనికులు కదిలే ప్రస్థానం ఇది.

"ప్రాణం పోయినా, పీక కోసినా ‘జై తెలుగుదేశం’ అని పలికే నిబద్ధత.. కష్టకాలంలోనూ జెండాను గుండెలకు హత్తుకుని నిలిచే కార్యకర్తల త్యాగనిరతే ఈ పసుపు సైన్యానికి అసలైన బలం."

మహానాడు విశిష్టత ఎక్కడుందంటే, అది సామాన్య కార్యకర్తను అగ్రపీఠంపై కూర్చోబెడుతుంది. ఎండనక, వాననక, కక్ష సాధింపు చర్యలకు భయపడక, పార్టీ కోసం సర్వస్వాన్ని ధారపోసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరి శ్రమకు లభించే గౌరవ వందనం ఇది.

నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడి సుదీర్ఘ విజన్, నారా లోకేష్ యువ చైతన్యం ఈ పండుగలో మేళవించి, సరికొత్త భవిష్యత్తుకు బాటలు వేస్తాయి. ఇటీవల ‘స్త్రీ శక్తి’ వంటి వినూత్న థీమ్‌లతో సమాజంలో సగభాగమైన మహిళలకు, వెనుకబడిన వర్గాలకు అండగా నిలుస్తూ, ‘మహానాడు’ కేవలం రాజకీయ తీర్మానాలకే పరిమితం కాకుండా సామాజిక విప్లవాలకు వేదికగా మారుతోంది.

చరిత్ర ఎప్పుడూ సులువుగా రాయబడదు; ముఖ్యంగా తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ చరిత్ర త్యాగాలతో, పోరాటాలతో లిఖించబడింది. చీకట్లు ముసిరినప్పుడు వెలుగురేఖలా, కష్టాలు ఎదురైనప్పుడు కొండంత అండలా నిలబడే వ్యవస్థ ఇది.

ఈ పసుపు తోరణాలు, రాత్రి వేళల్లో సైతం కార్యాలయాల్లో వెలిగే కాంతులు కేవలం ఒక పండుగ మాత్రమే కాదు.. నవ సమాజ నిర్మాణానికి, తెలుగుజాతి అఖండ ప్రగతికి సరికొత్త శంఖారావం. మహానాడు స్ఫూర్తి ప్రతి ఒక్కరి గుండెల్లో నిరంతరం ప్రవహించే ఒక చైతన్య స్రవంతి!

In Bhattuvanipalli village of Anantapur district, the Half Moon Model, an innovative intervention introduced by #APCNF, was successfully implemented in the fallow land of farmer Anjaneyulu. This model demonstrated significant benefits, including effective rainwater harvesting, prevention of soil erosion, enhanced water infiltration, laying a strong foundation for sustainable agriculture, and maintaining continuous green cover through diversified cropping. On the same occasion, PMDS seed pellets were sown in the fields where the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer Shri V. Lakshma Naik elaborated on the preparation methods and benefits of PMDS, followed by sowing under the guidance of District Collector Sri Anand, IAS.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector stated, “We are also promoting #NaturalFarming practices at the Collector’s bungalow by cultivating leafy greens, vegetables, and groundnut under our supervision.” He further emphasized, “Farmers should adopt Natural Farming practices to consume healthy food, reduce input costs, and enhance their incomes.” He also highlighted the role of community institutions, adding, “Women Self-Help Groups must take a lead in scaling up and sustaining these Natural Farming practices.”

The Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple, built by Rajendra Chola (son of Rajaraja Chola who built the Tanjavur Big Temple) is very near my village and as a young boy I had visited the temple on many occasions. The temple had no poojas at that time and the surroundings were in sorry shape.

I would ask "Why were our ancestors able to build this marvel that could stand a 1000 years and withstand many attacks and yet we are not even able to maintain it properly?"

To me this temple was a symbol of both our glorious history and our decline. It gave me the determination and the confidence that our nation can rise again.

Nandyala district Collector Smt. Rajakumari Ganiya I.A.S convened a review meeting with @APZBNF, Agriculture, Horticulture, and @SERP teams. She directed the establishment of 365 days green cover Nutri Gardens across government institutions, including Anganwadis, schools, hostels, and self help group communities in all mandals, enabling farmer exposure visits.

The team also visited Pandurangapuram village, a model for diverse cropping systems—integrating mango, coconut, sweet corn, groundnut, leafy greens, vegetables, and a farm pond with fish cultivation.

Impressed with @APZBNF progress, the Collector assured continued support in scaling up #Naturalfarming initiatives across the district.
