#Geospatial is trending today in India thanks to the budget announcement of a National Geospatial Mission (NGM), to develop foundational geospatial infrastructure and data, along with a DeepTech focused fund. Sharing a video from last year's @TEDx by @pbasu_space at #IIST, on how solving a big societal problem like farmer financial inclusion hasn't been an easy one, because of poor geospatial data infra. Hopefully, the NGM initiative solves teething issues in land digitization in a better way than was earlier attempted.

We had the privilege of hosting our first-ever event dedicated to the spacetech ecosystem last week in Bengaluru. We were thrilled to bring together 120+ founders, operators, investors, and researchers at the forefront of India's space revolution for an evening of deep insights and meaningful connections at 'Orbital Velocity: Charting Indian Spacetech's New Era', hosted in partnership with @piventures.

The event featured two illuminating panel discussions that explored critical aspects of building and scaling spacetech companies in India. Our first panel, 'From Zero to Orbit', covered various aspects from ideation, team-building and fundraising to navigating regulations and building the ecosystem.

Our second panel, 'Commercializing the Cosmos', covered everything from customer validation and PMF to emerging trends like space debris management and multi-orbital launch capabilities.
