@CtrlAltDwayne @kimmonismus I'm not sure being trained on public knowledge is the same thing as distilling problem solving.

China could also go and feed their AI's public books and websites - that's now what makes a model good.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@kimmonismus It's hardly damaging to their reputation when it's public knowledge and nobody cares.

China are stealing tech... and water is wet.

Everyone knows this and nobody cares as long as it's better and cheaper.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@randallknutson Until there's a Mac OS and iOS competitor, they'll always have business.

You wouldn't imagine in 2026 with all the tech companies it'd be that difficult to develop a new OS off the back of Unix, just like Mac OS did. It's opensource and considering agentic AI... Hmm.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@LaraKnox20 @eBay_UK @InPostUK Sorry, fixed now.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@philipsITplusGh @MKBHD Looks about as practical as a chocolate teapot.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@lmilsfsd @stake_jevens Microsoft tried this a decade ago. It doesn't work. A weird hybrid bulky mashup that no one wants.

Two very different products aimed at two very different type of customer.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@stake_jevens They plan to replace MacBooks with iPads?

You shouldn't be allowed outside without at least two responsible adults with you at all times if you believe this.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@brandur We've had three USB-C ports on the Pro for years now. Unfortunately there's no extra here.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@TwitDinosaur @dsueiras305 @Carrie4Liberty @TRobinsonNewEra He's spent considerable time in the US recently. The ban is lifted. That's outdated by 13 years.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@tim_cook The only way this becomes useful if the screen is detachable and automatically runs iOS for an iPad experience.

That will never happen because it will instantly cannibalise iPad sales.

Throw on a pointless unergonomic feature nobody asked for and call it innovation...

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@FutureIsOrangeX @tim_cook Just think how good Apple would be today if Steve was still at the helm. Tragic.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@richontech This will go the same way as the touchbar, the Apple graveyard. Along with the mouse with the charging port on the bottom.

Utter stupidity.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@Glasgow_Times Hardly a surprise. It's a miracle they hung on so long.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@GavinDorris @dabigpoppa2 @Glasgow_Times If you had taken just a second to read my earlier response instead of ranting like a fool - you would see I made that exact point you utter fucking idiot.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@GavinDorris @dabigpoppa2 @Glasgow_Times That would be a valid argument if they were exclusively a golf fitting centre, they weren't.

They sold the same gear as online retailers at a roughly 20% markup. This is why they went out the game.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@yachty66 @OfficialLoganK The old model ranks 5. Why are you highlighting an irrelevant rank that has nothing to do with this model?

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@dsueiras305 @Carrie4Liberty @TRobinsonNewEra I thought offering the bedroom was action? Did you miss that part?

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@JamesHa78131584 @newsandpics Because 99.9% of the population require this level of dumbing down, sadly.

[Scotland Counted @ScotlandCounted]

@thsottiaux Prime example of why Opus is far superior and all the issues with SOL.

It over engineers the absolute life out of everything. Over promises, under delivers and goes round in circles ignoring instructions. SOL is also painfully slow!

Opus diagnosed this in 60s!
