Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI):
"You no longer need to write prompts."
In just 38 minutes, he explains how to use ChatGPT at a level that most people can't even imagine.
It's a talk he gave to Stanford students. A friend sent me the recording last night.
After watching it, I realized I was only taking advantage of about 15% of what this tool can really do.
Watch it in full and then read the guide I leave below on how to create a system that prompts itself.

The close friend Tim Ferriss goes to for advice.
He taught him a philosophy for life that made Tim stop giving a f*ck.
Here's the philosophy:
12 thoughts on incentives:
1. Don't ask your barber if you need a haircut.
2. "I can fix the $32 trillion US debt problem in 5 minutes. You pass a law that when there’s a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members congress are ineligible for re-election” - Warren Buffett
3. 33% of British criminals were dying en route to Australia in the 1700s.
Britain switched from paying sea captains for every passenger who walked on the ship to paying them for every passenger who walked off.
Immediately, the survival rate shot up to 99%.
4. How to waste your time: Try to defy the laws of physics -- or try to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it.
5. “Never attribute to conspiracy what is more easily explained by incentives and incompetence.” - Naval
6. During the 1980's, the government of Athens came up with an idea to limit pollution: Odd-numbered and even-numbered license plates.
On dates with an odd number, the odd plates could drive. And vice versa.
The rich people just bought another car -- with even worse emissions. The streets got more jammed and the pollution got worse.
7. “If you reward profits alone, it’s the dumbest thing you could do. Employees will quit advertising and start shrinking the business” - Buffett
8. If video games teach us one thing: If you want to motivate humans, frequent rewards are more addicting than one-off rewards.
9. In Hungary, every woman who gives birth to 4 children or more never has to pay income tax.
Prediction for the next 2 decades: As populations decline, every government will be focused on child-bearing incentives.
10. “I think I've been in the top 5% of my age cohort all my life in understanding the power of incentives, and all my life I've underestimated it. And never a year passes but I get some surprise that pushes my limit a little farther." - Munger
11. If a person tells you why their thing is great (city, relationship, or job) - take it with a pinch of salt.
If they tell you why it's terrible - take it like a handful of gold.
If someone swims upstream against their identity and incentives, it probably holds some deep truth.
12. Skinner's Law: If procrastinating, 2 ways to solve it:
Option 1 - Make the pain of inaction > Pain of action
Option 2 - Make the pleasure of action > Pleasure of inaction
The person with a gun to their head and crack cocaine at the finish line doesn't need motivation.

24 tips to make 2024 the year you get in the best shape of your life:
1. 90% (or more) of your meals should be steak, chicken, turkey, ground beef, veggies, fruit, shrimp, eggs, and greek yogurt
2. If you can't stop after 1 drink, just stop drinking altogether (it IS making you fat)
3. Skip breakfast and drink caffeine instead to reduce calories and curb your appetite
4. Secret snacks that will help you hit your protein goals:
-"Safe Catch" canned tuna (40g)
-"Good Culture" cottage cheese (19g)
-"Oikos Pro" greek yogurt (20g)
-"Premier" protein shake (30g)
5. The only fat you need for cooking is olive oil, tallow, coconut oil, and butter. Everything else can be thrown in the trash
6. The next time you say to your spouse "what do you want to eat?" Go do 5 hill sprints. Randomly deciding what to eat 10 minutes before you eat it is a surefire recipe to overeating. Plan your freaking meals ahead of time.
7. Fast every day. 16-18 hrs. This will accelerate visceral fat loss.
8. Never use the word "dieting" again. You aren't dieting. You're fueling your body by making health conscious decisions that align with the person you desire to become. BIG difference.
9. If I've said it once I've said it a million times: if you're not losing weight, you are EATING TOO MUCH.
10. Make 80% of your workouts compound lifts. Bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press, pull-ups, dips, etc.
11. Snacking too much at night? Brush your teeth immediately after eating dinner.
12. Drink an 8oz glass of water every hour, on the hour
13. If you f*ck up one day it's not the end of the world, just make sure you don't f*ck up the next day
14. Prioritize weightlifting over cardio. The muscle you build has a positive effect on your metabolism.
15. Make it EASY on yourself. Dump all the garbage food in the trash. Order groceries delivered so you don't go into the store. Whatever system you need, IMPLEMENT IT. This is your LIFE we're talking about.
16. Stop speaking negatively to yourself. If you call yourself a lazy fat*ss, guess what you'll become?
17. For the love of god get at least 7k steps per day. This is almost nothing.
18. If you MUST eat unhealthy foods, at least eat the real version of them. (eg: popcorn on a stove with butter and olive oil instead of nuking seed-oil packaging in microwave)
19. Eat protein first, every single meal
20. Avoid other lazy and fat people. As long as it takes. Surround yourself with fit people.
21. You can still snack. Just put them in your PLAN. Otherwise you'll probably end up eating too many calories
22. Measure your body. Scale. Tailor's tape. All of it. What gets measured gets managed.
23. Make your bedroom 68 degrees or colder. This leads to better sleep, which leads to optimal hormones, energy, and metabolism.
24. Just f*cking start. Right now. Share this post and bookmark it. Slam your phone down and go workout.

It's called the 4A Framework – here's how it works:
A cheat code I wish I knew at 18...
The 4 Types of Luck:
In 1978, a neurologist named Dr. James Austin published a book entitled Chase, Chance, & Creativity: The Lucky Art of Novelty.
In it, he proposed that there are 4 types of luck:
(1) Blind Luck
(2) Luck from Motion
(3) Luck from Awareness
(4) Luck from Uniqueness
Here's what they are:
Type 1: Blind Luck
Completely out of your control:
• Where you are born
• Who you are born to
• Base circumstances of your life
• "Acts of God"
These are the truly random occurrences of the universe.
Type 2: Luck from Motion
You’re creating motion and collisions through hustle and energy that you are inserting into an ecosystem.
You increase your luck surface area through simple movement.
The increase in collisions opens you up to more lucky events.
Type 3: Luck from Awareness
Depth of understanding within a given arena allows you to become very good at positioning yourself for lucky breaks.
Naval says: "You become very good at spotting luck."
You can “spot luck” from a mile away because of your knowledge and experience.
Type 4: Luck from Uniqueness
Your unique set of attributes attracts specific luck to you.
“[This type] favors those with distinctive, if not eccentric hobbies, personal lifestyles, and motor behaviors.” - Dr. James Austin
Type 4 Luck actually seeks you out.
The Stages of Luck
I personally think of Types 1-3 as coming in stages as you grow up:
• Type 1 dictates your early years
• Type 2 as you hustle in your 20
• Type 3 as you gain experience in your 30s+
Type 4 is unique—it’s dislocated from age.
Always remember the Luck Razor:
When choosing between two paths, choose the path that has a larger LUCK SURFACE AREA.
Your actions put you in a position where luck is more likely to strike.
It’s hard to get lucky watching TV at home—it’s easy to get lucky when you’re engaging and learning.
There are lots of simple ways to increase your luck surface area:
• Talk to more new people
• Send more cold emails
• Write/share in public
• Participate in digital communities
• Spend time in rooms where you feel like the dumb one
To recap the 4 types of luck:
• Type 1: Blind Luck
• Type 2: Luck from Motion
• Type 3: Luck from Awareness
• Type 4: Luck from Uniqueness

I've lost $100s of millions in sales by forgetting this:
Idle time kills all deals.
After your first meeting, every passing second makes a deal more likely to die.
Your contact will get fired. They will find another product. Or just get busy elsewhere.
Urgency matters.
ChatGPT is overhyped.
That's what I told myself after 2 weeks of trying (and failing) to use it well.
Turns out, I was just a poor prompt writer.
But after spending hundreds of hours tinkering, I've finally cracked it.
And now, it's my personal writing assistant.
Here's how:
I paid $68,000 to join a mastermind.
At first, I feared it was a *complete* money bonfire.
But this weekend, we had an in-person event—a packed resort with entrepreneurs making millions of dollars per year.
And I walked away with these 7 unexpected (but valuable) takeaways:
