Second Accident: i was out to buy a Suit for a meeting but due to Friday all shops were closed, i asked help from one of the bystander and he nicely asked me to follow him and led me to a street and then a shop, there were no suits but a sovenairs shop and he literally begged me to buy sovenairs, thankfully i texted my Egyptian friend and found out the items he was selling me was 10x the actual price, so when i wanted to leave the shop he manhandled me for wasting his time โฆ goshhh , one of the scariest experience!!
Same happened to us (me, and my vietnamies colleagues from UN) when we visited the Pyramids, the guide was asking for 100 USD each for himself and his other 2 staff, and even followed us upto the hotel harshly, unless we called our UN support.
Egyptian people are very nice and is a very nice country but the vendors (not all) try to rob you..
