I've been reading a lot of articles on @edutopia lately, and learning a whole bunch! I highly recommend checking them out: https://t.co/ESzVYSg7BK #csufedtech#EDEL590#lifelonglearning
Join me at this years CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland® Resort or help me raise funds for @chocchildrens by donating now. Every dollar counts for kids! #chocwalk https://t.co/JHMu2JUkjg
If you haven't already, I highly recommend the teacher PD offered by @GoogleForEdu. Getting a deeper understanding of the ins and outs is vital to using the Google Suite for Education effectively! https://t.co/r4FixTaGHk #csufedtech#edtech#lifelonglearning#EDEL522
I just started a Chinese #MOOC course with @coursera, and learning all of these different tones is a big challenge! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else in the #csufedtech program is taking! #chinese#languagelearning
Check out this resource for first graders I found: https://t.co/ImYWBIgocg The slide presentation they have is so helpful for teaching #medialiteracy! #csufedtech#EDEL522
Check out this resource for media literacy! It's a nonprofit focusing on helping students become smart consumers of news and information. @NewsLitProject#csufedtech#news https://t.co/dAfWcxFa3Y
A4: With my previous class, it would be age and parents. Especially with collaborating with other students outside of our school, I worry about parent and administrator permissions. For inter-class it's more just getting used to the program I want to use. #csufedtech
A3: I love using the @AquariumPacific 's expert videoconferences, and I really enjoyed being the expert and taking my friend's class on a #virtualtour through a bunch of museums using @Google 's Arts and Culture! #csufedtech
A2: My students use Google Meet as the main way of collaborating outside of school. I would have my students work together on assignments on Google Meet, and students would also tutor each other by using Google Meet. #csufedtech#studentsbecometeachers
When I had my own class I had the kiddos on @ClassDojo and @Seesaw , but unfortunately I didn't have the inspiration I'm getting now with #csufedtech so they didn't interact much outside of class! With the younger ones I feel like it's a bit harder as well.
A1: I'm in a few teacher groups on Facebook, and I'm a member of some professional organizations that have online forums and things, like @NatlMarineEd ! #csufedtech
Hi everyone! My name is Katherine Mendenhall and I'm currently subbing with IUSD and NMUSD. I taught first grade for two years at a private school before this. #csufedtech
