We are outraged after an Israeli drone strike almost hit 5 of our Palestinian and international staff on their way home from Nasser hospital in Khan Younis. As always, the Israeli authorities were notified about our movements and the vehicle was identifiable with an MSF logo.
This attack, which occurred on the afternoon of 20 November, killed 20 people and seriously injured 10 others according to the Ministry of Health. These indiscriminate attacks on civilians and healthcare must stop.
“Repeated security incidents in the humanitarian zone pose a real threat to the safety of our staff and patients and the continuity of our activities in Gaza. Humanitarian workers must be protected at all times,” says Caroline Seguin, MSF coordinator in Gaza.
I've got some posters/leaflets about squatting in Brighton from around the time the law on squatting changed 2011/2012. Is there an archive anywhere that would take them?
#OnThisDay in policing history: #spycop Bob Lambert sets fire to Debenhams, Harrow, 1987.
This era of Special Branch surveillance, provocation & sexual abuse of activists is currently in the spotlight at the Public Inquiry into Undercover Policing.

HN19 says he reported on attitudes towards the police by activist groups because as a police officer he was "not very happy with the description of us being defenders of capitalist control over the working class" #spycops
That same month, Farage had the absolute audacity to declare "Fake news can do real damage".
I mean, where do you start with that.
In fact, I'm just gonna finish there as it's a perfect conclusion and encapsulation of exactly who Nigel Farage is and what he stands for.

@lloyd_rm It does seem like very convenient timing for a complaint to be made. Labour seem to be routing out anyone from the left so presumably they don't want any votes from the left too.
@AlexiDimond@thetimes@TheGreenParty@Fhamiltontimes We're with you Aleksi. Its disgusting how they are using antisemitism as a political weapon. It undermines those who really are victims of antisemitism
@HJB3996@MarcusH96ImABot@EdPerryman@thomasforth There are many jobs that involve dealing with traumatic deaths and don't get well paid. The reason train drivers get well paid is cos they've got the power to demand it due to strong unionisation.
@EdPerryman@thomasforth I don't think that's it, nurses deal with life and death situations daily. Including people dying by suicide in front of them sometimes. If people were paid based on that nurses would be getting a lot higher pay
@dougmaw @sussex_police Talk to a solicitor who specialises in cases against police. They'll be able to tell you if you have a case and if they'll be able to get funding to do it for free. @netpol have a list of recommended solicitors here: https://t.co/fVnVXywRs6
I've worked with Bhat Murphy before
So good to see hunts folding in Sussex - the violence from both these hunts over the decades has been extreme. Finally we are winning: https://t.co/hMukyVNBmm
