Did you know that humanity has never launched a spacecraft to another star? That is about to change! I'm super excited to share that my cofounders, @AdiOltean, @EzraFeilden, and I, have created a non-profit to attempt to send humanity’s 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿… and we need your help!
We have formed a non-profit called The @FermiExplorer Mission with the goal of launching a minimum viable spacecraft to Alpha Centauri, the nearest star system, leaving in 3 years and arriving in around 80,000 years. We hope it will be both the first spacecraft to leave Earth for another star, and the last to arrive, as per this concept video!
The mission is intended to make the idea of interstellar travel real, and to encourage more people to confront one of humanity’s biggest unanswered questions when we look beyond our planet: "Where is everybody?" (the Fermi Paradox)
The mission has four high-level objectives:
- Aim: To launch the first spacecraft to another star. It should get at least 99% of the way to the nearest star system, Alpha Centauri, within 80,000 years.
- Payload: It should have at least a 1kg, 10x10x10 cm payload.
- Schedule: It should launch before the end of 2029
- Cost: It should cost less than $15M to design, build, launch, and operate.
The mission was planned with the help of the folks at @astrodigitalgeo, @MattGialich and the folks at @AstroForge, and @alexwg+@matthew_pines physical AI lab PSI, who devised the final mission profile. The mission will be executed by full-time program manager @GarrettJameson, who joins us after 10 years as a US Air Force Officer, in collaboration with a US bus manufacturing partner that will be selected over the coming months.

si querés construir tu primer agente de IA, empezá por una tarea chica y concreta.
por ejemplo: buscar ofertas de trabajo y enviarte solo las que coincidan con tu perfil.
1) definí el objetivo y las instrucciones
indicá qué puestos debe buscar, qué requisitos priorizar, cuáles descartar y cuándo considerar terminada la tarea.
2) elegí un modelo
podés usar GPT, Claude o Gemini para leer cada oferta, compararla con tu perfil y decidir si es relevante.
3) creá sus tools
una para buscar ofertas, otra para guardarlas y otra para enviarte las seleccionadas. cada tool puede ser una función que consulta una API o ejecuta una acción.
4) construí el loop
el modelo decide qué tool usar, observa el resultado y elige el siguiente paso hasta completar la tarea.
podés programarlo directamente o usar LangChain, LangGraph u OpenAI Agents SDK.
5) agregá memoria si la necesita
guardá tus preferencias, las ofertas que ya revisó y el estado necesario para continuar entre ejecuciones.
6) creá evals
armá una lista de ofertas que debería aceptar o descartar y compará sus decisiones con los resultados esperados.
cada vez que cambies el modelo, las instrucciones o las tools, volvé a ejecutar esos casos para comprobar si realmente mejoró.
7) definí cómo manejar errores
agregá reintentos para errores temporales, límites de pasos, tiempo y costo, y confirmación humana antes de acciones importantes.
también registrá qué tools utilizó y qué resultados obtuvo para poder entender por qué falló.
un agente confiable debería completar la tarea de forma consistente, dejar claro qué hizo y, si no puede continuar con seguridad, detenerse e incorporar a una persona en el proceso (human in the loop).
la mejor forma de aprender sobre agentes es construir uno de punta a punta.

Many drugs work by binding to a specific target in the body and blocking or changing what it does. An important first step in the drug development process is designing a molecule that can bind tightly to its target. Traditionally, that's meant weeks or months of expert work per target, sifting through a large number of candidates to identify the few that work.
We wanted to test if Claude could successfully design novel protein binders from scratch (also called de novo design). With a protein design prompt written by a human expert, Claude autonomously designed protein binders against 14 out of 15 targets.
We then worked with Adaptyv Bio and Twist Bioscience, who independently built and tested the proteins Claude designed.

Did you know there's a type of phishing attack that defeats MFA completely.
It's called a reverse proxy phishing kit and it's one of the fastest-growing attack techniques in cybersecurity.
Traditional phishing works by using fake login page. you type your password. attacker gets it. if you have MFA enabled, the stolen password alone is useless. attacker gets stopped at the second gate.
reverse proxy is different.
instead of a fake page, the attacker sets up a live proxy server between you and the real website. when you click the phishing link, you connect to the attacker's server. the server connects to the real Microsoft, Google, or Okta on your behalf. it fetches the real login page and serves it directly to you, pixel for pixel in real time.
you're looking at the actual login page. you type your real password. the proxy relays it to Microsoft. Microsoft sends back an MFA prompt. the proxy relays that to you. you approve it. Microsoft sends back a session cookie.
the proxy intercepts the cookie before it reaches your browser.
You're logged in, so is the attacker using the same session.
Tools used: Evilginx, Modlishka, Muraena. all open source. all free. all with pre-built templates for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Okta, and PayPal.
commercial versions: EvilProxy, Tycoon 2FA, Mamba 2FA, Starkiller. Sold as subscription services on Telegram.
Reverse proxy phishing surged 139% between September 2025 and March 2026, nearly 1 in 4 phishing links now carries a reverse proxy payload.
18 US universities hit last year. Microsoft 365 campaigns targeting thousands of organizations globally.
The only authentication method that stops this completely: FIDO2 passkeys and hardware security keys. They bind credentials to the real domain. The proxy can't replay them because the credential was never issued for the proxy's domain.
Everything else, SMS codes, authenticator apps, push notifications can all be relayed.
