I used to treat lead magnets as “nice to have.” Then I watched one simple resource (a 1-page framework I shared on LinkedIn) book more discovery calls in a week than my previous month of outreach.
The interesting part wasn’t the volume. It was the quality.
People who grabbed it already understood the problem, so the conversations started further along.
Anyone else had a small free resource punch way above its weight? What was it?
Most founders post content and hope for leads. The ones who actually get consistent inbound do one extra thing: they attach a simple lead magnet to their best posts.
A short checklist, framework, or case study in exchange for a comment or DM does two things:
→ Filters for people who are actually interested
→ Gives you a reason to start a real conversation
Content gets attention. Lead magnets turn attention into pipeline.
@Danielgbright Nice work. Most founders still underuse LinkedIn for consistent leads and the visibility that helps with fundraising. We’ve been helping with that.
@tomas_boda SF energy is real. Most founders get traction on X but leave LinkedIn underused for leads and investor visibility. We’ve been helping operators fix that.
@rywicks@ycombinator@pennant_ai Congrats on the YC summer and hiring. Most teams at this stage still underuse LinkedIn for warmer inbound and fundraising visibility. We’ve been helping with that.
@k4cperg Nice growth on X. Most founders still underuse LinkedIn for consistent leads and the visibility that supports fundraising later. We’ve been helping with that.
@shawnchauhan1 Big raise. A lot of founders still leave LinkedIn half used and miss the warmer leads + visibility that helps with fundraising. We’ve been fixing that.
@v_garg_s@hello_ambi@sorrelsalb@austinlmejia Congrats on the raise. Most teams at this stage still underuse LinkedIn for inbound and investor visibility. We’ve been helping founders get more out of it.
@builtnewai@X Solid. Most operators get traction on X but leave LinkedIn underused for warmer leads and fundraising visibility. We’ve been helping with that tho.
@AlexBellSpace This tracks. Warm support matters a lot in fundraising. Most founders still underuse LinkedIn for the visibility that helps with investor interest. We’ve been helping operators improve that. Happy to share more if relevant.
@builtnewai@X Appreciate the build in public. Most operators get traction on X but leave LinkedIn underused for warmer inbound and fundraising visibility. We’ve been helping founders tighten that up. Just say the word if you want the details.
@SchviftyFive Wild that LinkedIn filled up that fast. Most early founders still treat it as an afterthought even though it’s solid for leads and later fundraising visibility. We’ve been helping people get more out of it. Happy to share if interested.
@oliverbrocato Nice. LinkedIn still works for higher-value convos when it’s done right. A lot of founders underuse it and miss warmer leads + fundraising visibility. We’ve been helping with that. Open to sharing more if useful.
@sheetaverma@hello_ambi@sorrelsalb@austinlmejia Congrats on the raise. Most teams at this stage still leave LinkedIn underused for warmer inbound and visibility. We’ve been helping founders fix that with better presence + AI outreach. Happy to share what’s working if relevant.
Most founders I talk to are active on X but still underusing LinkedIn.
That’s usually where the warmer leads, partner conversations, and even fundraising interest start showing up.
We’ve been helping operators improve their LinkedIn presence and run smarter AI outreach so those opportunities come in more consistently.
If you’re building something and LinkedIn feels like an afterthought, happy to share what we’ve been seeing.
@Dylan_txa_ Appreciate the breakdown. The signal-based outbound piece makes sense Just curious, for the founders you talk to, is LinkedIn still a meaningful part of that motion or are most of them leaning harder on other channels right now?
@builtnewai@X Hey, solid background. Building the third one in public is no small thing. How’s the early traction feeling so far, mostly coming through warm intros and X, or have you been seeing anything useful on LinkedIn yet?
@AbhinavAmrute Relatable. A lot of solo founders I talk to say the same thing about trying to stay consistent on LinkedIn and X. Did you end up prioritizing one more than the other when you were earlier on?
@dan__rosenthal This matches what I’ve been seeing. Founder-led content seems to be doing more of the heavy lifting now. Has LinkedIn been a meaningful part of that for you, or mostly other channels?
A lot of founders get traction on X but leave LinkedIn half used. That’s often where the better leads and fundraising conversations actually start. We’ve been helping operators fix that with better visibility and AI outreach. Happy to share what’s working if it’s relevant.
