The Extraordinary Grandiosity of Meghan Markle.
The disconnect in this interview is astonishing.
Meghan says she already had influence during her time on Suits. She talks about people monetising what she wore and how intentional she was in using fashion to elevate brands and designers, almost presenting herself as someone uniquely thoughtful about the opportunities clothing gave her.
And somehow, throughout all of it, there is barely any acknowledgement that marrying into one of the most famous institutions in the world might have had something to do with the level of attention she received.
Instead, the story becomes: Meghan had the influence. Meghan elevated brands. People monetised Meghan. Meghan used fashion strategically. Meghan was the phenomenon all along.
She genuinely believes the influence was always hers.
The sheer narcissism of it is astonishing. The constant rewriting of the narrative so that Meghan is always the benefactor rather than the beneficiary, always the one elevating others rather than the one being elevated, is frankly laughable.
Royal women have long understood that what they wear sends a message. They have used fashion to champion homegrown talent, support local businesses on tours and bring attention to causes bigger than themselves. They recognised that the platform wasn’t about them. It was about how they could use it in service of something greater.
Meghan, on the other hand, often appeared far more interested in established luxury labels and big fashion houses. Yet listening to this interview, she speaks as though she was the one intentionally elevating others, as though this level of thoughtfulness and strategy began with Meghan Markle.
To understand the disconnect, if Meghan Markle already had that level of influence from Suits onwards, where were the sell outs? Which brands couldn’t keep stock because Rachel Zane wore a blouse? Where were the websites dedicated to tracking Meghan Markle’s outfits before she became a working royal?
And if the influence truly belonged to her alone, where is that same level of impact today?
There seems to be no gratitude for the extraordinary platform she was given. No recognition that she stepped into an institution that amplified everything she touched. Just the conviction that she was the gift.
Everything is always about Meghan.
The influence was hers. The generosity was hers. The strategy was hers. The impact was hers.
It’s an astonishing level of self importance to walk away from one of the biggest platforms in the world genuinely believing that everyone else was benefiting from you, rather than recognising just how much you had benefited from them.
I wonder if we will ever find out why Meghan Markle was rummaging and rifling through Prince William’s Audi
Was Meghan trying to plant a device in his vehicle to hurt the future heir to the throne?

It’s wild watching someone play both brave runaway and professional victim.
You trash your family, describe royal life as unbearable and paint the institution as cold, cruel, and toxic. Then you turn around and insist that the very country you claim failed you should keep funding your security and providing the privileges and accommodation you’ve grown accustomed to for the rest of your life.
That’s Prince Harry: entitled, self absorbed, completely devoid of self awareness, and chronically allergic to accountability.
