@JessicaValenti My husband got very upset at so many news programs during 9/11 saying that mothers were terrified of their sons/daughters being hurt or dying. Not one mentioned the fathers having the same fear.

@nytimes Did this in Vegas several years ago. Piled giant tires, standing last one on its side, using the bucket’s teeth. Dug a 15’ trench. Me, 60-something, never near such a machine — had an absolute blast. Had I been looking for a career, that might have been a deciding experience.

@TSN_Sports Very disappointed with Cincinnati tennis programming. Sat semi + Sunday final both go past allotted time and you don’t pick up remainder in next slot, but opt for taped NFL highlights! That could’ve waited to show the rest of the match. #ATP1000 #CincyTennis
