Former Paramedic of 10 yrs → triathlete → vibe coder. Building AI Coach Cloud - agentic AI training partner for endurance athletes. 4x IRONMAN 70.3 finisher
Casually scrolling through my Instagram feed, and I am inspired to tackle the south rim of the Grand Canyon, out-and-back.
Currently, I'm simply in a perpetual base training phase for triathlon, where I'm just maintaining my fitness for swim, bike, and runs. I don't have any triathlon races planned, so I made a goal of making my first "A" event the Grand Canyon hike/trail run
I go about asking my AI Coach Cloud to firstly analyze my current level of fitness and overall training picture, and then recommend me an appropriate training build to achieve my goal.
I walk through most of the coaching process and responses, as I build my plan.
A bit more data points would form a better picture on his runs, but based on what is shown in the video, this dude, at nearly 70 years old, is splitting faster than me (not really a big deal), and most other people, who are much younger than him. His diet is heavy on carbs, moderate protein, and the morning black coffee.
imo, he has great genetics, and his lifestyle complements that. I love to see it.
@enhanced_games The un-enhanced athlete, Armstrong, just won the 50m backstroke! Well, the only enhancement was his swim wetsuit. STILL didn't break the world record though!
Who else is watching the @enhanced_games ? Honestly, I have always wondered why an "enhanced" professional sports division has remained absent.
Imo, it would actually level the field by separating natural from enhanced athletes (oversimplification, I know).
Regardless, I am excited to watch how this event turns out.
