@_CleanSea So inspirational! It's great to see young people make such a difference for our oceans. Really shows that anyone can help save our oceans. I'd love to show this in the classroom to bring awareness to students to influence their waste management. #UoNTeach
Thanks for sharing!
@TownsPhoebe This is a great idea! You could use this in a lesson for stage 2 and link with other recycled materials you can use to make art in the classroom.
This interactive website has an extensive amount of information on how to keep our oceans clean and healthy. Great for students to have a play and learn so much, ICT is a great resource to utilize in the classroom to enhance engagement also!#UoNTeach

When talking about #SDG14 we tend focus on the negatives. Sometimes its important to look at the progress that has already been made. Here is a story of a bay in Jamaica that has recovered and come back to life. #UoNTeach

@AlannahWhipps This would be a great visual arts lesson idea! Everyone loves art, why not use recycled materials? They could even collect the materials themselves from home or make designated bins around the school to encourage others to recycle as well!
Thanks for sharing Alannah
Did you know that the main cause of pollution in our oceans is plastic?! It is important to understand how to reduce, reuse ad recycle plastic to keep our oceans clean.

'Tilly's Reef Adventure' by Rhonda N. Garward is a great book for younger years for introducing #SDG14. It shows that, with a little help from us, our oceans can be greatly effected. At the end of the book it even includes information about our reefs and how we can help.#UoNTeach
@MissElkin This is such a good idea! It really shows that young people can make a difference. I would use this in the classroom for older years, allowing the students to collaborate different ideas of what they can do locally to help reduce plastic waste.
Thanks for sharing Grace!
Here is an informative website showing statistics and facts about our oceans and keeping them clean. This would be useful to show older students. This connects the classroom to real world and helps students understand the importance of #SDG14#UoNTeach https://t.co/xYYbK6B99c
