nor require differential panels or dilutions! This tuning strategy with PLA highlights the opportunity to achieve sensitive, accurate quantification of diverse analytes in a highly multiplexed fashion. We're excited to see where this tuning is taken for better health monitoring!
New paper w/ @HTSohLab! This is a large part of my PhD, Im excited to share some of those results!
In this work, we provide a strategy to overcome the problem of measuring proteins that span >7 orders of magnitude using only 5ul of serum. How? 1/4🧵
We propose a tuning approach for proximity-based assays, enabling simultaneous quantification of four analytes across from low fM to mid-nM. Importantly, this solution does not require modification of the intrinsic affinity of affinity reagents to their targets... 3/4
Who’s at or coming to the #MNMC conference? The @HTSohLab and I are excited for #biosensors convos and ways to convert #bench2bedside. Also for views in Hawaii!!
This is my mom! Thanks to OutdoorsForAll, my mom has had the best year of her life, and given her new outlooks for what she can do. She's skied, road and mountain biked all for the first time this year! Now, she goes biking for a few miles practically everyday, and can (1/4)
only heard through people all her life -- And this only thanks through the countless volunteers and organization of Outdoorsforall that make this possible.
Outdoorsforall is having a silent auction, if you want to support providing the outdoors to those that need more (3/4)
Our paper “Improved immunoassay sensitivity and specificity using single-molecule colocalization” https://t.co/GmqWuXT52I is now featured on the Editors’ Highlights webpage in the “Biotechnology and methods” research section @NatureComms#Biotechnology https://t.co/5llWodZQFr
Have to really thank co authors @AmaniHariri20 , @steventan17 and our lovely collaboration with @Dunn_Lab. Y’all have helped me learn a lot in the process and I’m so glad to have had the chance to get this idea out together! Thanks for making this fun to tackle together!
Check out recent work from my phd with co authors @AmaniHariri20 and @steventan17 out in @NatureComms working towards minimizing background signal that plague immunoassays by using fluorescent colocalization and image processing methods!
Check our new paper @NatureComms - We demonstrate a novel Single-Molecule Colocalization Assay (SiMCA) to eliminate background produced by non-specific binding. Great collaboration with @Dunn_Lab , co-lead by @AmaniHariri20@SharonNewman0@steventan17 https://t.co/GmqWuXT52I
Code to determine colocalization and transformations are available here with demo data: https://t.co/IbJwV7GKPk. Full Data available to public: https://t.co/5dwRXZkZk8
A lot of my phd focuses on solving fundamental limitations in assay design via #modeling, #assay molecular manipulation and #computational tools. This one is a nice synergy between these three.
