Don’t know who the comic is, but he was definitely gross and unfunny. The hardest thing about political satire is the difference between sharp & cruel. This was not sharp, it was cruel, the timing was off, it landed badly even with Congress supporters. When your star campaigner is going to share stage with a performer you should have checked his jokes and done a dummy run in front of mixed audiences. Now the fallout is shared by your leader. The opposition had enough jokes to crack on Dr MMS silences or Mr ABV’s pauses or Deve Gowda’s napping or Rajiv Gandhi’s fumbles but the then top opposition leaders never indulged in it. They instinctively knew. They didn’t have MBA analysts with laptops egging them on. The office of the PM is respected & you might make fun of the person in private but on public platforms the language is formal, the criticism needs to be satirical and indirect. The Jantar Mantar event seems to have misled many people to believe that India’s public language has changed across the country. It might have to some extent, granted. But they don’t want you to adopt it. From you they expect decorum. That is why you are leaders, we/they are masses.
Back on the field after 19 long months.
I reported the story of IIT student’s suicide. IIT-B says Sahil, who was caught using AI during an exam, was assured that no action would be taken against him. Sources who spoke to FPJ, have a different story.

Even 0.01% of the physical and psychological torture that Veer Savarkar faced would have been enough to push these “burger bachche” into depression and possibly even suicide.
What @IamSanjuSamson told @surya_14kumar is something every captain would love to hear: a player putting the team’s interests ahead of his own place in the side. Good things happen to good people. Given his chance, Sanju responded with three brilliant innings and played his part in taking India to the World Cup title!

"They have come from Political Party, Aam Aadmi Party"

"They are definitely not Saints who don't have any self greed"
@satejp is one of the most hardworking @INCIndia leader from Maharashtra, enjoys support in the organisation and is a loyalist to the party. Perfect candidate for @INCMaharashtra chief. Also other opposition leaders have good relations with him.
The Gen Z that was trolling the BJP like there was no tomorrow just a month ago is now going crazy over a BJP MP. That’s how quickly opinions can change in this gen. A big lesson for those who think Instagram algorithms, and online hype can automatically translate into votes.
