Lot of hullabaloo about Bangladesh getting 0 tariff on its export of garments to USA compared to 18% for India. Bangladesh will get that concession only if it uses US yarn. US yarn is 40% costlier in absolute value, and together with the freight it becomes 50% costlier. Till now, Bangladesh was using Indian yarn. So, good luck Bangladesh.
