This isn’t limited to NYC. People want joy and belonging, and campaigns can provide that. it’s certainly more appealing than a campaign offering visions of how we’re doomed
@MercuriusFilius As a Boston Latin alum, I'd add that in the specific case of Harvard, in addition to the kids being qualified, it's useful to be able to say that they accept 30 or 40 Boston public school kids each year when negotiating with the city on land development issues
Got a survey presumably from the Markey camp testing messages against Moulton. I didn’t get a screen grab, but the most interesting q was whether I like Graham Platner (no other non-MA pols were mentioned) #mapoli
As an MA voter I think it’s important to note that the @sethmoulton background is aces. Excellent fern, soapstone sink and greenhouse (?). More unique video call backdrops, please.
Exhibit 584 that online platforms are gendered, and specifically that Youtube is far more important to young men, while TikTok is far more important to young women. So a TikTok-only strategy is going to hit way more young women, intentionally or not https://t.co/XcbshrDbeA
@BigBoyler Gardner Museum has world class art & amazing story (largest art theft in history). Nicer weather tomorrow to walk historic sites (Boston by Foot does good tours) & along the Charles River. Get a lobster roll at Row 34, not a tourist trap. Whale watches are long but amazing
Fascinating if after all the talk about podcast “bros” in the 2024 election, the most influential show to appear on for 2028 candidates is *Kylie* Kelce’s, not Travis and Jason’s
For all the talk about reaching young men via UFC, Major League Soccer is Gen Z’s favorite, and 3 of their top leagues are soccer, which all rank higher than MLB, NHL and NFL (via @MorningConsult 2026 Sports Marketing Guide). Let's focus more on soccer for civic &social outreach
I want to invite my friends on the Left to sign up for this upcoming @LeadershipInst training I'm leading: "AI for Campaigners".
We demonstrate forbidden tech like ChatGPT and Claude and how to help your campaign with AI.
@_alice_evans An important and overlooked path to building those skills is service/volunteering. It can be hard and expensive to build those skills once people are out of formal education systems, but we should bring them into coaching and other volunteering with explicitly pro-social goals
@PTBwrites I think that's from 46 countries, but Kantar took down the full report for some reason. This survey showed Gen Z was more likely than Boomers to say women should stay home with the children https://t.co/dcjIaZZUzr
RFK Jr. suggests Americans can more easily afford groceries if they start eating liver instead of beef:
"Most of the cheap cuts of meat are very inexpensive. ... You can buy liver or the cheap cuts."
@ehahouhui@washingtonpost Recycled oyster shelves create reefs where new oysters latch onto and grow. They’re filter feeders so they clean the water and the reef reduces erosion
@QuestDX , a company worth $23 billion, didn't block off President's Day in their booking system, so people showed up to closed locations. But they're a middleman vendor and there's no way to contact them or register the frustration. Efficiency! #enshittification
