@Uber I am shocked at the service from Uber and Saltoro. I had placed an order with Saltoro, they called and I was unable to respond. I then get a message saying I asked them to cancel the order. Which is blatantly false. (1 of 2)
The order showed up on activity after 15 mins, and I was charged for it from the looks of it. I had to submit a request to get a refund for absolutely no fault of my own. This isn’t the customer first experience you expect. @DoorDash seems to have figured out how to do this right
Second - I try to get to get to the app to request help and I don’t see the order in my activity. How can a tech company in 2026 be lossy on data like this. Mind blowing.
It's pretty awesome how dancing makes robots less intimidating. Looking forward to seeing more nontrivial Machine Learning on these robots. Credit: Boston Dynamics.
Excited to announce that Amazon #Aurora#PostgreSQL#Serverless is now generally available in N. Virginia, Ohio, Oregon, Ireland and Tokyo. https://t.co/DUq6ltIu8y
My first patch for #postgresql, co-authored with @MengTangmu, is in! Fsync queue re-factoring will allow for new storage managers to be introduced, like the one needed to transition SLRU to buffer cache.
