If David Eby wins the next election, it won't be because Conservative members voted for a Conservative leader.

It will be because British Columbians want to pay taxes so children can overdose.

So stores can be trashed & robbed by junkies.

So human feces can remain a staple of our sidewalks, right next to passed out junkies and used needles / fent foil.

So our Province can be handed away in backroom deals to unelected First Nation leaders.

So our credit rating as a Province can be downgraded to junk status.

So thousands more British Columbians can be legally poisoned to death or left with life long brain damage.

At no point does anyone say the BC NDP have to select a CONSERVATIVE leader to lead their party.

Canada is full of these weak men, who truly believe conservatives need to put liberals in charge, for conservatives to win.

Putting Liberals in charge is exactly how we got here.

Pretending Liberals won't change their stance on issues after Peter Milobar just did, is a fools argument.

We just watched a whole bunch of BC Liberals leave the party after affirming they were committed to taking down the BC NDP and clawing back numerous BC Liberal policies that failed us all.

Who brought in injection sites?

Who didn't enforce laws around drug use?

Who brought in SOGI?

Who allowed CCP money laundering to create hyper housing inflation?

This is what years of NDP mismanagement has left coastal British Columbians depending on.

And now they’ll tell you the answer is sending BILLIONS overseas to have China build our next ferries because it’s faster.

British Columbians should never have been put in this position.

We need a long-term fleet renewal strategy that delivers reliable ferries AND builds the capacity to build them right here at home.

Conservatives fighting Conservatives while the problems facing British Columbians continue to get worse, stops now.

Our fight is NOT with each other.
The departures and divisions were predictable. There will most likely be more.

Real Conservatives need to stand behind their ELECTED LEADER and focus on the bigger objective: winning the next election and bringing change to British Columbia.

To defeat an NDP government that British Columbia citizens argue have failed British Columbians through mismanagement, rising costs, the toxic-drug crisis and ideological policies.

Kerry-Lynne Findlay has promised to tackle many of these issues. This is what got her elected as party leader.

Now she has an opportunity in Abbotsford-Mission to bring her legal and political experience directly into the B.C. Legislature.

Abbotsford-Mission needs a strong voice.

And British Columbia needs Conservatives focused on the people they were elected to represent, not on fighting one another.

Time to get back to work.

On July 2, 1982, a 33-year-old truck driver named Larry Walters tied 42 helium weather balloons to a Sears lawn chair, strapped on a parachute, packed a BB gun, sandwiches, and a six-pack… and cut the rope.

He expected to float a few hundred feet over his San Pedro backyard.

Instead he shot up like a rocket to 16,000 feet — straight into the main approach path for LAX.

Two airline pilots radioed the tower: they had just passed a man in a lawn chair holding a gun at 16,000 feet.

For 45 minutes he floated over Los Angeles, freezing, too scared to shoot more balloons. Finally he started popping them one by one and came down tangled in power lines in Long Beach, blacking out part of the neighborhood.

When police asked why he did it, he said:

“A man can’t just sit around.”

FAA fined him $4,000. America turned him into a folk hero — Lawnchair Larry.

This eagle had everyone on the boat convinced it was injured and drowning.

It was thrashing, barely moving, wings flapping weakly as it drifted toward the rocks. You could hear the concern in their voices, “Oh no… he’s gone.”

Then the camera catches the fish tail. That “struggling” eagle was actually swimming a monster of a fish to shore because it was too heavy to lift. Wings working like oars, determined as hell, it finally hauled that catch up onto the rocks.

BC LOGGERS BLAST FUEL NEGLECT AS SUMMERLAND BURNS

Veteran B.C. loggers say decades of inadequate fuel management have left communities exposed as explosive wildfires overwhelm suppression efforts and turn manageable ground fires into fast-moving disasters.

“Climate change is not these forest fires. We never had these problems,” said Craig LeBeau, co-owner of LeBeau Bros Logging.

“A fire… instantly it spreads,” he said in a recent TikTok video filmed in the Kamloops area.

“The office and those red shirts, they’re all about the money and profiting,” he added, criticizing bureaucratic barriers that prevent experienced local operators from thinning stands and supporting early suppression.

Research and operational data confirm that decades of aggressive government fire-suppression policy have built dense fuel loads and continuous canopies across many Interior forests.

This policy interrupted the frequent low-intensity surface fires that once naturally thinned undergrowth.

The B.C. Forest Practices Board’s June 2025 special investigation, Help or Hinder? Aligning Forestry Practices with Wildfire Risk Reduction, examined activity in the wildland-urban interface, the critical zone where forests meet homes and communities.

The Board found commercial logging in these high-risk areas occurs 11 times more often than dedicated wildfire-risk-reduction treatments.

Between 2014 and 2023, roughly 175,700 hectares were logged in the interface while only 16,200 hectares received targeted fuel-reduction work such as protective thinning.

The Board concluded that far more deliberate fuel management is needed as the interface continues to expand with development.

Experts and industry operators urge scaled-up mechanical thinning and prescribed fire as high-leverage tools that work alongside, not instead of, climate and weather factors. Source:
