🚨 **Despite BMC stopping the illegal work on 17/05/2026, the unauthorized construction activity has once again resumed openly on 18/05/2026 without any fear of action.** BMC officers reportedly stopped the work in the morning and repeated requests were made **three times** to the Senior Police Inspector of V.P. Road Police Station to remove labourers from the site. However, according to available video evidence, no labourers were removed and only one manager allegedly went to the police station, met officials, and returned within five minutes, after which the illegal work reportedly continued again openly at the premises. DCP Zone - 2 is requested to look into this matter as this place is being constructed for lodging purpose which will be given on hourly basis sources claims for prostitution business.
🚨 **URGENT COMPLAINT REGARDING ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION WORK & ALLEGED POLICE NEGLIGENCE / COLLUSION** 🚨
LOCAL POLICE STATION: V.P. Road Police Station @VPRoadPS@MumbaiPolice@DcpZone2Mumbai@AddlCPSouthMum
At premises **277 Mumbai Darbar Hotel (Bombay Restaurant), M.S. Ali Road, Grant Road, Mumbai – 400008**, illegal construction and unauthorized work is allegedly continuing despite prior action by the B & F Department of D Ward and repeated complaints to police authorities.
The **D Ward B/F Department** had already issued a notice regarding illegal work on **29-01-2021** and had informed the concerned authorities including Mumbai Police and specifically VP Road Police Station to immediately stop any unauthorized activity at the said premises.
However, taking advantage of weekends and BMC non-working days, the owner and contractor allegedly attempted to rapidly complete the illegal work during Saturday and Sunday.
Several calls were made to VP Road Police Station
• **Friday, 15-05-2026 – 4:06 PM**
Complaint No: **CFS37092950**
• **Saturday, 16-05-2026 – 7:05 PM**
Complaint No: **CFS37100295**
Despite repeated complaints and multiple emergency calls, no effective action was reportedly taken to stop the work.
After several calls, Police Van No. 02 allegedly arrived at the site. Upon opening the shutter, one individual came out and accompanied police personnel to the police station while the illegal work reportedly continued simultaneously inside the premises. After some time, the same individual allegedly returned from the police station and the work continued without interruption.
Following another complaint call, one constable reportedly arrived on a motorcycle, clicked photographs, spoke with the same individual, received a phone call from him, and shortly thereafter left the site without removing labourers or stopping the illegal activity.
Video evidence is reportedly available clearly showing:
• Police arriving after complaint calls,
• Labourers remaining present at the site,
• No removal of workers despite complaints,
• One manager visiting the police station and returning within minutes,
• Police personnel leaving without stopping the work,
• And illegal activity continuing thereafter.
According to local sources, the owner and contractor are openly claiming:
> “Humara kaam koi nahi rok sakta. Kitna bhi complaint kar lo, humne VP Road Police Station ko manage kiya hai.”
This matter raises serious concerns regarding:
• Failure to enforce municipal and police directions,
• Negligence in discharge of duty,
• Possible protection being extended to illegal construction activity,
• And possible collusion between concerned individuals and officials.
Immediate intervention is required from senior authorities of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and Mumbai Police to:
• Stop all illegal work immediately,
• Seal the premises if required under law,
• Verify CCTV footage and call records,
• Remove all labourers and machinery from the site,

Serious Questions Over Illegal Activities Inside Samundra Bar & Restaurant Located At Mumbai Central Under Judristion Nagpada Police station
Despite repeated raids and alleged action by the local police station and Mumbai Crime Branch, shocking illegal activities are reportedly continuing openly inside Samundra Bar & Restaurant.
As per Maharashtra Government regulations and bar licensing norms, only permitted female performers are allowed on the designated stage area. However, videos and eyewitness accounts allegedly show multiple girls operating beyond the permitted limit and moving freely on the floor area.
❗ Key Allegations: • Only 8 girls are reportedly permitted on stage, but the actual number present on the floor allegedly exceeds the legal limit.
• Illegal dance performances are allegedly being conducted inside the VIP section/floor area.
• Open showering of Indian currency notes is reportedly taking place inside the premises.
Repeated raids by local police and the Mumbai Crime Branch have allegedly failed to stop these activities.
• Serious questions are now being raised regarding enforcement, monitoring, and accountability.
The management and staff are allegedly operating with complete disregard for law and order.
⚖️ Possible Violations Under: • Maharashtra Prohibition of Obscene Dance in Hotels, Restaurants and Bar Rooms Act, 2016
• Relevant provisions of the Mumbai Police Act, 1951
• Licensing conditions issued by Maharashtra Excise & Mumbai Police authorities
• Public nuisance and unlawful entertainment activity provisions
