Honoring Darryn Andrews recipient of the Silver Star Posthumously. Andrews was KIA September 4th 2004, in Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device and a rocket-propelled grenade. Andrews fatally placed himself between the incoming enemy fire and his fellow brothers. His courage under fire was essential in saving another Soldier's life, and saving the lives of five other Soldiers who were with him.
