@britishairways lost my luggage and forced me to buy all new clothes. They took a week to find my luggage (that was air tagged) that ultimately showed up damaged. They then took 2 months to respond to my claim for reimbursement, only to say it wasn’t their fault 😂😂 what a joke!

Take them to small claims court and add any fees on top of the compensation claim and at this point you can also add interest. It’s the only way you will get your money back.

Oh that’s easy. They won’t. Simply take that claim to small claims court and pursue it with the addition of fees before you run out of time to legally take action. That’s the game they’re playing and the only language they understand.

They can’t. That is illegal. Not only are they legally bound to rebook you even with other airlines but they must provide accommodation, meals and calls. They can’t force you to stay. They’re illegally detaining you which is against your civil rights. Get evidence and sue.
