The Municipality of Shuniah is alerting of a planned cell tower outage June 1 to 8, 2026, that will disrupt mobile 911 in the Shuniah area including Silver, Loon, Bass Lake. Use a landline for emergencies. Enable Wi‑Fi Calling before outage so 911 can route over home internet.
