Events in life mean nothing if you do not reflect on them in a deep way, and ideas from books are pointless if they have no application to life as you live it.
The greatest battle of all is with yourself—your weaknesses, your emotions, your lack of resolution in seeing things through to the end. You must declare unceasing war on yourself.
🗣️Pep Guardiola: I had the privilege of coaching Leo Messi during his time at Barcelona, and I can say he is one of the greatest footballers I’ve ever worked with.
However, what I’ve witnessed in recent times has left me deeply disappointed. From my perspective, the controversies surrounding FIFA and Argentina have made it difficult for me to celebrate the game the way I once did. Football should be decided by fairness, transparency, and merit—not by anything that creates the perception of favoritism.
For me, Cristiano Ronaldo’s achievements stand as an example of success built on hard work, consistency, and determination. Whether people agree or not, I admire a career earned through relentless effort without relying on controversy.
As a coach, I will never support anything that undermines the integrity of football. I would rather lose with dignity than win under a cloud of controversy. FIFA must continue striving to ensure that every team and every player competes on a level playing field, because the credibility of the sport depends on it.
The skyrocketing price of food and fuel is pushing millions of Nigerians into extreme poverty. When will the Tinubu administration provide actual relief instead of policies that just burden the masses?
"Renewed Hope" or renewed hardship? A bag of rice costs more than the minimum wage, and fuel prices keep rising. This administration's economic policies are completely disconnected from the reality of average Nigerians.
Currency & Economy
The continuous float and freefall of the Naira has destroyed small businesses and wiped out savings. We need structural economic reforms, not just trial-and-error policies from the Central Bank.
Trading the Naira has become a daily nightmare for businesses. Inflation is unchecked, and the Tinubu government's approach to fixing the economy clearly isn't working.
Infrastructure & Power
Despite constant promises and tariff hikes, the national grid keeps collapsing. Nigerians are paying more for electricity they rarely ever see.
We cannot drive a modern economy on generators and broken roads. The current administration needs to move past rhetoric and actually fix Nigeria's failing infrastructure.
Governance & Public Spending
While asking citizens to tighten their belts and endure the economic hardship, the government continues to allocate billions to luxury SUVs and renovating official residences. The hypocrisy is deafening.
True leadership requires sacrifice from the top. You cannot demand patience from struggling citizens while the presidency’s budget for luxury items remains untouched.
Security Concerns
Economic reforms mean nothing if people don't feel safe in their homes or on the highways. The administration needs a more decisive, transparent strategy to tackle insecurity across the country.
Banditry and kidnappings are still disrupting daily life and farming communities. The government must prioritize restoring basic safety alongside its economic agenda.
Everything about this case points to massive coverup and possible high crime. @PoliceNG if it is still serious investigation agency should summon the minister as a prime suspect of a possible crime

PRESS RELEASE
RE: INVITATION OF PETER FOR NIGERIA AND MAMA PEE BY THE EFCC
There is growing agitation in the public space on the whereabouts and safety of our clients and good governance activists, Mr @Peter4Nigeria and Miss Precious Oruche, popularly known as Peter for Nigeria and @MamaPee__ respectively.
I can confirm that they were invited by the EFCC to appear on 6th July 2026, to offer clarifications over allegation of abuse of the Naira by separate invitation letters dated 24th June, 2026.
We wrote to the Commission to reschedule the meeting to Wednesday, 15th July, 2026 since our clients were not available on the originally scheduled date.
We arrived the Commission with Peter for Nigeria and Mama Pee on Wednesday and met with the investigators.
After cooperating with the Commission, our clients were released and we departed the EFCC’s Headquarters. We will be going today in furtherance of the investigation.
During the interrogation on Wednesday, which took considerable time, the Commission acted professionally.
Our clients clarified that what was referenced were Props money for entertainment and not Naira notes.
Our clients are in high spirits and they appreciate the concerns expressed by spirited Nigerians regarding their safety.
We will provide more information about this matter in due course.
Thank you.
Inibehe Effiong.

🚨🏴🇦🇷 The appointment of American referee Ismail Elfath for Argentina vs England has sparked a strong reaction across the English media.
🗞️ Daily Mail: “Lionel Messi will have his favourite referee in the semifinal, despite theories claiming the World Cup is rigged.”
🗞️ The Sun: “FIFA chose the referee who officiated Lionel Messi's most important moment.”
🗞️ Daily Mirror: “Referee confirmed… and Argentina gets what it wanted.”
Adding fuel to the debate, Leo Messi's Inter Miami have won every match officiated by Ismail Elfath, including a cup final. 👀
#Breaking: The @NGCourtofAppeal in Ibadan has just upheld the appeal of @NigBarAssoc & the #ECNBA against the orders of High Court of Oyo State in the matter concerning the case by the #EgbeAmofin seeking to impose a candidate on the NBA for its presidency.
The court held that the suit andproceedingso in the lower court, including the order ex parte against the ECNBA and NBA were anullitya because the Oyo State High Court lacked jurisdiction.
According to the Court of Appeal, the High Court of Oyo State lacks jurisdiction on all fronts: subject matter, personal, & territorial.
This decision clears the way for #NBADecides2026 to proceed.
But will they give up....?
BIGGEsT COVER UP EVER!
The arrest and reported dehumanization of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged Director-General of a “fake agency,” points to what appears to be an official cover-up rather than a genuine search for truth.
By now, President Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, @femigbaja should also be under arrest and investigation if the authorities are truly committed to uncovering the facts.
So far, the individual alleged to have collected the ₦400million bribe on @femigbaja behalf has reportedly died under mysterious circumstances, while the hotel allegedly used for the exchange has since been demolished.
In addition to the real crimes, we are now witnessing obstruction of justice by the @officialABAT criminal regime.
