Absolutely awful service from @JohnLewisRetail@johnlewishelp . I dislike using twitter for customer service complaints/action but sometimes there's no other option (after waiting for ages on their phone holding message, probably along with all the other unhappy customers).
We should neither dismiss nor overhype cell-based meats. Whether they can scale cost-effectively remains an open question, one we have some ability to influence with significant public investment in research and innovation. New from @TheBTI@SaloniShah101 https://t.co/SCQ2wBBrqN
@Dr_NeilA I've had Sony WH-1000XM3 for a couple of years now. Great sound, the 360 reality audio sounds amazing, which works with some streaming services. Bluetooth and mic is good, I use them for video calls regularly too. WH-1000XM4 probably even better.
@boofla Monday’s job is to get my python framework for CFD optimisation running on Graviton2. Looks like this has just got considerably easier. Impeccable timing!
If there's one petition you sign this year, please make it this one. There's little that's more important than a shift to a Wellbeing Economy.

@LorenaABarba Of the cases I’ve seen where its been revealed, it’s 500 simulations minimum to generate the data. The other concern is that those runs are with the same simulation setup - no acknowledgement of any need to modify setup as you move around the design space.
@DrAMcMullan Yes you could, but a bit of a faff. Did you name the surfaces of the stl’s/obj’s? if you did and snappy hasnt kept them then probably something amiss somewhere.
@DrAMcMullan You could make simple stl/obj files of the bounds of those two domains, make a blockMesh that encompasses both and then use locationsInMesh in the snappy dict to provide a point in each domain. Probably other methods, this was first to mind.
@garcfd It's got to be the best named open source CAE software out there 🤓 it's neat, worth a look even if you don't end up using it - https://t.co/3dKRqaUWkr
This week I'll be making openfoamv2012 do lots of funky fieldAveraging/forceAveraging/runTimeControlling and smoothing out a FreeCAD->GMsh->SparseLizard workflow. Hopefully.
@FreeCADNews I'll use the workflow for something I can share in the near future. Great tool btw, only been using it for a week, should have been using it for longer!
