@chrisesp19 If you are referring to Ashley Smith as being effective punishment, how is what she went through effective. If it was effective she would have stayed for only a month in jail and not more than 3 years. And if your not, then how is being isolated perfect punishment?

@NFHSLaw Going through rehabilitation with people in the same situation will aid in the process. I agree that prison staff should be the main components to this process, but mental health programs with other prisoners, not isolation, would be the most moral and effective method. #hld2018

#hld2018 In the case of Ashley Smith, solitary confinement should not be allowed for youths (age 18 and under) because it can heavily impact their mental health more so than adults.

Administrative segregation is not only just about the prisoner. Segregating prisoners costs taxpayers up to 10 times amount for other inmates. #hld2018
