Sounds crazy but EA had an exclusive license on Star Wars from 2013-2024 and made 6 games, paying an undisclosed amount, but likely $100m-$300m for ONE game. Reports on revenue generation range from $3-$5 BILLION. Today any game dev can go to @EpicGames UEFN, make a Star Wars game, and make money! Thank you @TimSweeneyEpic moment! What we like about KWS is that Epic Games offers it to the "source" ie parents who verify their children and grant them permission to use features that collect personal info, protecting children and parents from leaky privacy buckets since parents provide verification details once. Oh and Epic offers this FREE to developers. **ThankYou @TimSweeneyEpic moment for the list. Happy Halloween! 🎃 we discussed the market, EA, IP Rights, Google/Epic, Music and OMG @Roblox WOW - ignoring the stock, incredible growth off of a huge base. ~150 million DAILY users (+70% YoY) with time spent almost doubling (hours +91% YoY) And these are *not* all kids - 68% are 13 or older. Roblox promised they would pay developers $1BN this year and they already hit that. If you are still ignoring Roblox you are ignoring a platform that is larger than all of gaming combined.
