Thank you for these daily messages. You can see from the comments that there are MANY people reading them and using them to dive deeper in to their relationship with God. I know you don’t do this for the thanks or these credit . . .but nevertheless you deserve our thanks! Yes, the current climate makes things seem hopeless at times . . .but we have to remain confident that God will always conquer evil. I choose (some of the time, but probably not enough of the time) to remain optimistic that God will continue to bless our great Country! Keep those daily messages coming!!! They help!

Very interesting topic! I agree that in modern times we have begun to associate being "shrewd" as being cheap or especially in financial matters as being greedy. But, that is certainly not how the word is being used in the quoted passages, or in the dictionary definition. It is interesting that we are being exhorted to be shrewd particularly when dealing with the "wolves" and the "devious". There are a lot of "wolves" and "devious" people out there these days, but the message is clear that we are NOT to become like them, but instead to attempt to remain faithful, blameless and pure. That is definitely easier said than done . . .but a great reminder to keep on trying!

Great Monday morning message! The most recent and clear example of an abomination is the U Tuber who recently proudly declared that he and his wife had aborted their baby because it might have had Down's syndrome, and they didn't want the inconvenience of having to raise an "imperfect" child. But, it is unfortunately easy to find real life examples in each of the categories in our own lives, both on a personal level and on a broader level. We must identify, avoid and fight evil!

Dear LGBTQ+ People:

We don’t care who you love.

We don’t care what you do to your own body.

We don’t care what you do in private with other consenting adults.

We really don’t care. (And I would protect with my life your right to not care what I think and my right to not care what you think.)

I think I speak for most conservative Christians when I say all that.

What we DO care about is when you endlessly try to shove your lifestyle down our throats and when you try to convince children to join your lifestyle, against their parents’ wishes. Further, we DO care when you require us to accept things that our faith says are sins as not being sinful.

That’s for each of us to decide, and not you.

This is why conservative Christians despise the fact that you attempt to take an entire calendar month to shove your lifestyle down our throats. Live and let live, we say. But you cannot accept that.

It is YOU who are intolerant.

I know not all LGBTQ+ people think this way, but to those who do: KEEP IT PRIVATE BECAUSE WE DON’T CARE.

What a stupid take that is. They publicized the whole thing so that the whole world would know. They made it everyone’s business and obviously invited people to react. They got the reaction they deserved, and by the way, it is not we that are “condemning” them they have condemned themselves. My only prayer is that they realize the depravity of what they have done and that they repent . . . And that hopefully someone else who has read about this has their eyes opened to how depraved the act is and it prevents the next person from making the same abominable decision.

@scrowder Exactly right! He is essentially bragging about it and looking for compliments about how "brave" he and his wife were. They are sick, evil people who hopefully will one day repent and beg God for forgiveness.

For Jesse Ridgway to try to play the victim because he got strong reactions from people who are disgusted by the fact that he and his wife deliberately killed their baby reflects perfectly the mindset that allowed he and his wife to make the decision in the first place. There are no words that could adequately express what an abomination it is for them to create a baby and then kill it because it would be inconvenient for them by being imperfect. That is pure evil, and we can only hope that one day they recognize it and have time to repent and ask God for the forgiveness that they will surely need.
